how can you find art to use to make your own banner for your website

that isnt copyrighted? how can you tell? i have a huge collection of art but i dont remember where i got 90% of it and im leery to use it to make a cool banner for my site so is there a website where you can find free art that isnt copyrighted and ok to use on anything?
unfortunately i cant draw for crap so i figured i would do a collage of several different pieces to make the banner and i need to make 2 of them. help!!

well you can use photos that you take or try to take lots of pictures online and crop part by part to create your own unique design for banner . All the best if you are using photoshop.

hmm that sounds like a good idea.. and yeah i would only want to use photoshop.. i cant stand any other photo editing programs other than photoshop
