I have looked forward to this day because we will celebrate the Earth Hour. It is an indication that we are already becoming aware or conscious of how to make our environment become healthy again, preservation of natural resources, taking care of the world. As we all know, many natural calamities have taken place recently especially the earthquake in Haiti, Turkey, and Chile. Global warming had its great impact on our daily lives now. We are feeling it, we are experiencing "crazy" weather/seasons/climate now.
I joined Earth Hour by putting off not only the lights but all electric appliances here at home for one hour today. And hopefully we could continue to conserve energy from hereon.. How about you? Did you join Earth Hour? What did you do?

It's 20:35 is Bulgaria now :)
My lights are turned off already! Let us all join the EARTH HOUR! Mother Earth deserves it . . . I expected almost all the lights in Sofia to be switched off. But most of them are still on . . . We can't do a simple thing! Whatever, the good news is that I saw many people turning the lights off.

Hi stand! Yes many of us here in the Philippines joined Earth Hour. And I am happy to know that a lot of people here are already aware of our need to preserve mother earth. This is the first step and i hope and pray that it will really continue to prosper in the days to come.. let us support this cause!!

I didn't sign up to do Earth Hour this year but that does not mean I'm not going to do it. I haven't decided yet on what I will do. I'm thinking that I'll probably turn everything off like they asked and just do it without signing up. I haven't decided yet.

Yup you are right High! It doesn't end up rather with just signing up for earth hour. There are many things we could do to help preserve the environment even though we have not signed for earth hour. All that really matters is our commitment to do so. Little things like just by disciplining ourselves not to throw garbage on the streets will already do good for the environment. Thanks for supporting.

It is okay Setsuna.. there are still other time when you can do earth hour at your convenience and availability. Also, we can help in our own simple way to preserve mother earth. Even by just properly disposing our waste materials or using recycled products already help and not damage the environment. I hope we all support this Earth Hour, it is a good cause.
