Well... after months of waking up early to catch the first train to go to work... I am now going to be working at night... so that means trying to catch the last train to get to work.
Goodbye oh lovely sun which energizes me as i sip coffee on my way to work
Hello dreary moon oh try to light my way with each step i take towards my daily grind
I work in a call center but haven't felt that way since December... since I worked in the morning shift.
Things I'll be missing:
The sun
sleeping at night
coffee
Things to look forward to:
No traffic
No rush
Cool night breeze
I prefer the morning shift since it let's me play with my band at night...
I guess I'll have to find morning gigs for the next couple of weeks
Morning shift I will definitely miss you

Well as you've said the night shift has it's advantages and disadvantages. I hope you enjoy the night shift awhile though and hope you can still get gigs for your band in the morning!

Ive been working night shift for the past 5 years but i will be resigning next week , im telling you its fun to be working at night too but getting enough sleep is a huge issue for me. Like your health is questioned when your working that late even if you use vitamins and all sorts of stuff having enough rest and sleep is still important
