what is the strangest or oddest event that you have watched or seen?

my friend had to do an event that is a little odd the other day it was an adult tricycle race and he had to do fire police for the event.
we have had other thing her that are a bit strange like playing basketball on the back of animals and things like that.
what are some of the strangest or oddest events that you have seen?
since we have so many users from all over the world here and all cultures have many different things so what would be yours?

It is Holy Week now for the Catholics. In my country, penitents flagellate their backs with glass crystals embedded on the whip cords. The penitents are all bloodied by the time they get to be nailed on the cross. I am not an audience to this kind of foolishness but this exists amongst my people. Tourists flock to the provinces just to witness these strange practices. You have a few days to pack your bag and come here by Good Friday. Strange and odd!

Our county celebrates "Old Settler's Days". There are all kinds of races and talent shows going on; people with booths set up to sell things. It can get kind of crazy. They have a contest in the middle of the street. Well most of there contests are in the middle of the street. Gets kids out of school early too.
Anyway, one contest is a tractor pull, but done on toy tractors. There are many age categories that take place. The oddest and funniest is to see grown, large men on these tractors racing down the street.

yeah that would be in the strange category just like seeing the adults riding the kids tricycles at that race that my dad and my friend had to go do fire police for I hope it was at least for some charity or something at least make it worth while then.

Well, the strangest thing I've seen would be a strange guy from the circus that we went by one time. He was very dangerous and a bit of a drunk and we were all scared of him. We kicked our ball and it went there and he took. The following night he passed in front of our house with the ball and he seen me and my brothe looking at him turned his face to us and smiled with his repulsive teeth. He wouldn't give it back. Next day the circus left town and we found our ball stuck on a tree near the circus area.

that would definitely be strange, but at least he did leave it for you and not take it with them wonder why he wouldn't just give it back to you when he saw you the next day.
that may have been for the best at the least you didn't have to have any more interaction with him and that was probably the best for you both.
