Lately, I got very busy processing some documents after marriage. Maybe of too much stress, I woke up yesterday with my left chest aching, plus neck, left shoulder and back pains and cold sweat. When it lasted for 5 hours already, I checked online what were these symptoms for. And they were most likely of heart attack symptoms so I decided then to go directly to the hospital emergency room. I had checked right away by the doctors, of course asking first my medical histories, and they took my blood pressure and ECG. After all the medical tests, the results were all normal, blood pressure is normal, no diabetes and no heart problem. And the Doctor had to discharge me because it was only Muscular pain. I felt relieved and when I came back home I decided to call for a massage therapist. The massage therapist confirmed with me then, that my muscles were swollen that's why it was too painful. Whew! I thought it was very serious already..Now, I feel so relaxed and relieved from a good massage!

Occasionally I get insomnia, and while attempting to fall asleep my body jerks awake. One night was followed with an intense pain, like being hit in the stomach. I was also very dizzy, and I felt that was it for me. Calling my doctor, I discovered that if I bent in a certain way, the discomfort was not as bad. Talking to him, we discovered that it was not a heart attack, but I did something to my back, which could be taken care of in a non-emergency manner (and much less expensive.) Also to let everyone know, Larry King (a host of a show on CNN) had pain on his right side during his heart attack. He said in a program afterward, that he almost had his friend driving him to turn back because the pain wasn't so bad. He ended up having a triple bypass. So always call a medical professional when in doubt.

Hi, I have also known to this fact that pain in the body specially on your left side of the body can be a reason to heart attack and one must not avoid such pains. It was good that you got checked yourself.

HI! I usually consult a doctor first before doing other options when there's high probability of serious illness, so not to worsen things. And symptoms like these couldn't be just ignored. So far I am doing better now, actually getting ready now to start another busy week! Good health always!

Hello there! Welcome to mylot Good to hear you alright and safe from having complications in the heart. Left chest pain is called angina pectoris in which it is relieved by rest but prolonged pain even with rest is called myocardial infarct and so on leading to serious illness. Your lucky as it is only a Muscular pain. Do not wear out yourself, the next time you get busy take it easy and take sometime for a break. Relax and release your tension.. And eat healthy too so you'll stay fit...

Yes I know, I read about the Angina Pectoris online. It's been 2 months that days were hectic, and it's when I was resting that I felt all the body pains. And tomorrow, it's another day to start a busy week! That's life
