sigh... here i am again, i think i am getting frustrated yet again... and so i am creating my own thread here in the vent area. i just need to share how i am feeling towards this place we are living right now.
the land lady is so strict. my nieces can't even go down and run around because as they say, that is too noisy!!!
the owner has a son who is already in his 50s probably that still relies on his mother, for God's sake. He is living in one of the apartments and acts as the guard for the whole apartment. I'm just glad me and my brothers are not like him!
my brother was talking on the phone downstairs - it was an open area and we could not even hear what my brother and his gf was talking about downstairs. he came up pissed off too saying that the land lady's son told him that he is too noisy. he can't talk downstairs!!! He said that my brother was noisy!!! Who cares if he can't sleep and he wakes up so easily?? we did not even hear any noise!! and he already told my brother that they are noisy!!
We are paying our rent here and we are even paying a parking fee - my other brother is not using that because he's got no company car for the meantime and my mom asked the owner if my BF's car can park whenever he visits me and they said of course you are paying for the space!!! and then this day came that this woman said there was no such conversation! My mom is not a lier! and they are lying now!! im sorry that i just need to vent on this really... i feel soooooo annoyed at them i am ready to kick some b*tt face anytime i see them.
My brother's work is just near this place and so we are staying for the meantime. I swear if i can't stand them and my mom insists that we stay here for the sake of not finding another place and the hassle of moving... I will just go out and rent my own place - i will be a bedspacer only to stay away from people of this kind in this place!!!
No wonder a lot of tenants here have already left. we stayed and is enduring this place for 5 years now and not one of the other tenants here havve stayed for about a year!!! my mom is so patient and just tries not to deal with them because of the proximity to the work of my younger brother...
God forbid, if i see them.. i shall not smile, not acknowledge them... believe me if they even open their mouth i can't promise anything but start a war!!!

I also had a landlord but I didnt think he was abusive at that time but there were things that he did that we didnt like. There were 40 boarders in his house before and we hated the idea that he turns the faucet of the water source really low especially in the morning when everybody is busy taking a bath. I think it was okay for him to do that if we didnt pay him on time but we do so it annoys us. We always pay him during the first week of the month and it annoys me that he asks for payment during the last week of the month in preparation for the next month. I stayed there for four years but I was not happy. I just didnt have a choice cause my parents wanted me to stay there cause they were thinking that it was good for me cause the landlord had strict rules.

I am so touch of how you felt towards your abusive landlords. I sympathized your situation. But please try to find a new place and leave before you hit your landlord that will result with another problem. When you find one, tell your mother that you should leave the place to avoid trouble with your landlord. Or follow Mathew 5:9- Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God.

thank you! i am trying so hard to be patient. my mom too and my brother and well we are just giving it some time so we could save and move to a better place. that is our plan anyway. i just couldn't take her insinuating as if my mother is the lier! that is the last blow!
