Whats the worse money maker you fell for?
For instance like "500 cents-500 dollars " paid emails
I remember my friend and I both reached 500.00 twice .. and
the owner never paid us or did he return our emails
In the end I found my email was shut off.
Another infamous scam was dormcheck.

I guess I have been lucky...I never fell for the to good to be true sites. And I have NEVER paid for an opportunity to earn. But, over the years programs have closed and I have lost what I had in my account...but it was never a large amount.
Any loss online is unjust. There are many ways to safeguard yourself. But, even after all those safeguards have been put in place...a program can still close their doors. It happens and will continue to happen...we just need to keep doing our research..and using our experience when it comes to earning online.

There are safeguards for businesses that are larger but I don't know how
many people would really go the bbb or ripoffreport and tell about dormcheck
or 500cents-500dollars being total scams.
IT would be nice if someone would create a softwared that can
be downloaded to the desktop that would be updated as often as needed and that
would popup a scam alert warning when a person landed on a scam site ..
Wouldn't it?

I bet many people would be happy with that...the only problem is who would be in charge of labeling a program a scam....many people shout scam...when it was them that broke TOS. But, it does sound great in theory

Well I thought maybe after 10 or more complaints for the same company
then a company or opportunity could be labeled a scam.
Or maybe the software can have the ability to scan the net and
produce a number of complaints ..
I just wish there was something that would popup ..send warning signs
when a internet users comes upon a scam. but there is not
We have to rely on forums such as mylot and others to blow the whistle.
