Why The Western Women Are Converting More To Islam........??

Hi Mylotters,Some people blame Islam does not care for w omen's rights but even than 65% of western converts to Islam are women.This clearly shows that they are fed up from their prevailing moral and social conditions and therefore seek protection in Islam.I would like to hear from such newly converted women why they decided to convert to Islam? Other readers can also give their views here.Thanks.

Because in western nations like the U.S. and Canada, laws forbid the draconian treament of women that they seem to be subject to in muslum countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran. For example, it would be utterly ilegal here to forbid a woman to drive, it would be completely ilegal to "dicipline" (abuse) one's wife here. Basicly it's pretty safe to be an Islamic woman here. Just my 2 cents anyways.

The key is western freedoms, were women are not stoned for walking down the street with a man they are not related to.

Thats because they keep everything in the family. I have heard lots of storys about insest in the muslim familys. They just don't talk about it because they lie about everything. Read the quran about lies being ok if it for the Islam cause.

Also I would like to state, that Satan is the father of lies and deception, So if the holy book of Islam teaches that, of lies and deception, it puts Muslims in the light of Satan's followers. This is not in my words, this is taught in the quran.

It could be that only 15% of new converts are voluntary women. When a man converts, his wife has no choice, so the first 50% really doesn't count.

Here in UK there are a greater percentage of conversions away from Islam than to it. The same is true to and even greater extent in sub-Saharan Africa where both men and women are deserting Islam in their millions all the best urban

The reason why 65% of converts are women may be that they convert after marrying a Muslim man or that men have more sense! all the best urban

Are they? Where do you get your statistics from? As others have said, these may be conversions due to marriage more than totally independent decisions.
