Is it true that Paypal now charges a minimum 1.05$ for even personal account holders? It was supposed to be free for small time earners. Is there anyway we can override this new bank policy is it mandatory for all?

Hi Preethaanju! PayPal fee is 2.9% + $0.30 or something like that. It was also there earlier but one could choose 'Personal Payment' and avoid fee. But now 'Personal Payments' are not available for Indians. So the fee is applicable to all the transactions. Bank policy? You mean, providing PAN and 'purpose code'? If so, then, yes it is mandatory for all Indians. And one cannot withdraw funds without providing those details. Happy Mylotting!

Currently you cannot send without getting charged the fee. If you want $3 then the amount must be $3.50 They say that personal payments will be reinstated but it might take many months! So it seems there is no way right now to send money without fee at PayPal. Alertpay though gives that option to starter accounts.

creating a paypal account is still free but they charge a small fee when you tranfer money
