What’s your twist on your guilty pleasure?

Although I wouldn’t admit it right to anybody’s face, I think reality TV is my guilty pleasure. Thank goodness for the anonymity of myLot. It is not appointment TV, but I do make it a point to put it on the necessary channels when I’m sitting in front of the boob tube.
But my twist is…
I bet money on the contestants! I have a friend at work where we have friendly wagers on some reality TV contests. Just $5-$10 bets, and of course some bragging rights. Just this morning, we’ve finalize bets on American Idol. My friend said that Crystal will win it, and my bet is for any other contestant to win it.
We’ve also bet on The Amazing race. I bet on the detectives, he bet on any other team.
So what is your guilty pleasure? What is your twist? Am I crazy for thinking that Crystal will not win Idol? Or for the detectives not to win all the way?

hi bounce I can never get to watch those things that I like like American Idol and the Amazing race,so I am really out of the loop
there,the old men duffers here grab the remote and watch sports or
old old reruns of bonaza, now I liked bonanza the first year or two but no fun when You know how it all goes. enough already. retirement centers are really rather tiresome in my estimation thats why I love to mylot so much as its more fun here.My guilty pleasure I would guess would be the
internet.love to browse and go to youtube too. We used to have some good programs for seniors here but our govener put the kibosh on that when he cut funds to the Garden Grove school district so they picked on the retirement homes programs first, guess they dont like older people.

I don't mind watching sports and sports highlights, but Bonanza reruns all the time?! Ugh!
It's great that you can still do some internet there. I would go crazy if I had no avenues to express myself.
And as far as TV shows are concerned, I'm sure you still get to see them on Youtube. If they're worth watching anyway.

My guilty pleasure would be on food. I am allergic to a lot of food but I still eat all of them without hesitation. I would rather have rashes than resist my fave food. Eating is one of the simplest escapes of man in life and it is the most pleasurable but common thing to do. Why would I restrain myself from eating the food I love,right? That's torture! :D
