I want to wish Ricky Martin all my best! I just read he came out! Bravo! I'm straight so I can only imagine how hard it must be. How did you come out? How did you feel afterward?

Ok I admit it. I'm straight. I like men. Bad taste, I know, but what can you do?
Seriously, good for him. Not that it's anybody's business, but the more people who come out and are open, the quicker attitudes can change (one would hope).

yea I read it yesterday online....I have to admit that I kinda chuckled because its not like everyone didnt really know already anyway...BUT I also realize that everyone has their reasons and those reasons vary greatly as to why they stay in the closet..I'm glad that he felt comfortable enough though to finally admit it publicly
As for me, well I've never been IN the closet myself..I've been very fortunate to never have had the need to be ya know...Its just who I am and thats that...

My dream is that the phrase "In the closet" is said and means items and Not people.

I read this today too, and I was quite surprised that he hasn't yet. I think people all around knew it was coming. Even when the news came out him being a father. It's interesting why he had to hadn't come out sooner.
When I was in high school, all my girl classmates were crazy about him and his group Menudo.
