What is your opinion of Psychics?

I know many of faith will say it's a sin to believe in Psychics.
What is your opinion of Psychics? Do you believe in them?
Why or why not?

I do not believe in psychics. However if someone does believe in a person who is apparently sensitive to things beyond the natural range of perception, then why should it be a sin?

Oh I think sin is applied to believing in psychics because they
say they have the abliity to see the future. and for many faith:
seeking out fortune tellers is a sin.

What about those making prophecy about coming of Christ? Were they committing a sin too? To me if someone acts contrary to his given nature then he commits a sin. For example if I call my self as human and do not act like a kindly and a humane person then I am committing a sin.

No I do not believe in them and think they are all fakes. I used to watch Montel Williams and every week he would have Silvia Brown on there. I would watch and just laugh. People are so easy to be taken advantage of. If you just listen to the person they are giving these "psychic's" all of the info they need to give the answer.
I am thinking of getting a new job will I be successful? - Yes the person gets all excited.
I have been trying to have a baby will I have one in the next year - Yes same as above.
Will I find my soulmate? - Yes wow I am so impressed.
My favorite is when someone has passed away and they will say someone is standing behind you and there name starts with a S. If they are such a psychic why not just say who it is. No they go back and forth until finally this person remembers someone whose name starts with a S and again everyone is amazed!
I lost count how many times that Silva would argue with the audience until they gave in so she would be right. Past lives, and those predictions that half the time were wrong.
I can be a psychic in fact maybe I should look into it. There are not that many skills to it. It is sad people are so desperate or just plain stupid to waste money on these people. They are frauds and if you get ripped off it is your own fault.

I found that most don't know .
I tested several out and when something didn't go right they would say
"it's not the psychic's fault if things change"
They are suppose to be able to predict what's to happen
They blame people and other things for their predictions not happening.
Which makes me wonder.

I have never been to one just from what I seen on talk shows. I always said if I was really bored and had a lot of money I would go to one and every time they asked me a question I would say to them don't you know? You are the psychic. LOL! I really wouldn't waste any money on them. Unless they want to give me the lotto numbers I would pay for that.

I personally don't believe in Psychics. There is a reference to those who "tell the future" in the Bible. And God does warn us about them. As in everything else, He also gives us free will, and a brain to read His word and figure out what we should or shouldn't do. I try not to judge others, but I don't read horoscopes or seek physchics.

Im a christian and am against psychics.However i don't think it is is because they are contacting the devil or anything like that.My problem with psychics is that i think it is a load of rubbish and they are just very good at deception and as a christian i beleive lies to be morally wrong.
