Yesterday I was feeling so tired and beaten that I decided to go to a massage parlor. I had an hour-long back massage but the lady who was doing it did not satisfy me. She was performing the act like she did not know what she was doing. Then she asked if I wanted a scented something which she said will make me feel more relaxed and that it has something which will make my skin look better. For an additional 30 bucks I was going to have that. So I waited for that certain product to be applied on me but an hour passed, nothing. She told me everything's done. So I asked her where's the aroma something and she said she already applied it on me. What? I did not feel nor smell anything. I swear that lady only used some water and charged me for it! Grrrrrr.....!

You should have gone to a reputable spa and not just from any massage parlor. Maybe that masseur just wants you to pay once and never come back. If you are in the massage business then you should satisfy the client so that they would come for another massage session right? I bet you won't really come back to that parlor anymore?

Yes, because of my dissatisfaction I actually went to another one just earlier today and boy, did I get a total satisfying massage. It is at a high-end spa which I have never tried because of its high cost, but now I know why and it cost me even more for choosing the cheaper one. NOw I had to pay twice by having another massage at a better spa. I learned my lesson though.

well, I think masseuse in spas are more trained on those things. I have a girlfriend who is a masseuse in a spa so I don't have to go to the spa for a massage but I think they have more reputations regarding massaging than ordinary parlors. They provide good service hence the high price, but it's worth it isn't it?

Hmm. Maybe your nose wasn't as sharp then as it usually is, and you just didn't get to smell the lotion thingie. :D Either way, I think massages are always great for stressed creatures. Heheh.

I felt more stressed out after that lousy massage.

I am sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your back massage all that much. Maybe she should have asked if you wanted to have some scent and explain which fragrance. Lavender can be really lovely and relaxing. Some people might be allergic to certain scents. She should have known what she was doing in the massage. A trainee massage therapist is going to be giving massages once a month at the children's center I take my two kids to. I have booked to have a massage with her next month. One of my friends had a massage from her earlier this month. I hope I will have a relaxing massage. Good luck to you next time you enjoy a back massage.

I actually went to another one where I had a truly satisfying and relaxing body massage. But that means ending up spending more.
