Oranges/ Homemade Orange Juice?

i absolutely LOVE homemade juices and we actually got a bullet given to us which we use for that purpose. we buy fresh (or frozen) fruit and make our own juices fresh whenever we want.

I live in Spain, and there are orange groves all around us, so the oranges we buy at the market are local ones. We just use an electric juicer to squeeze the juice and don't add anything to it. Sometimes, at the start of the season the oranges can be a little tart, and our friends have stirred a little orange blossom honey into their juice to sweeten it, but we've never needed to do this. Orange peel rubbed on the skin is a great insect repellent, and dried out in the sun for two weeks its great as kindling for lighting fires, so there's much more to the orange than simply making juice.

Yeah, I've done it for so many times. I actually liked my homemade orange juice more than what I buy from the grocery stores. I don't add anything to it, just squeeze in a blender.

I think that I have tried once to make my own orange juice. I know that I squeezed the juice out of the orange. It tasted really good though. I have never used a blender because I don't have one at the moment. I just squeezed the juice out of the orange by my bare hands.

As long aS the oranges are sweet you cAN squeeze them into your cup and you're good to go if not I would use some type of sweetner to sweeten it up a bit. Orange juice tastes way better freshly squeezed. If you're planning on doing this more often I would invest in one of those OJ squeezer things. At the store I think the cheapest one if approx $15

Yes, I tried it. I made it a lone. Some people like to add another kinds of fruit to oranges juice.

i know we had tried squeezing oranges to make a juice out of the fruits for our kids when they were babies. but i am sure we never tried orange juice in a blender. when we make juices out of orange fruit, we do not put anything, water or sugar, just the fruits.
