anyone that knows me knows that on certain things (not many) im a privacy freak and well i didnt want my pc getting into the wrong hands or be bring it some where and people feel free to take it upon themselves to use it and look through my pictures etc.. well i set up the facial recognition feature to log me in and at first every once in awhile it would have a problem or i would have to make sure and relax my face a certain way to get it to go through and now nothing helps it! i havent gained weight.. i did dye my hair but i always keep it pull back when logging in.. nothing else has changed on me and i dont know how to go and set up to where it recognizes me NOW instead of whatever it did before..
anyone had any problems with this feature on your computer? i can always enter in the password but loved being able to look at my pc and it log me in
anyone have any idea on how to reset it? im on an asus with vista..
if you have this option on your pc do you use it and have you had problems with it even though you havent changed anything look wise??

Awww! I'm sorry to see that you've had no responses to this discussion. One reason might be that not many people know about this feature. I didn't, until I read this discussion.
I had no idea that you can use facial recognition to log on to a computer! Is this a Vista thing? Seems to me that Windows 7 should have that same feature because my son told me that Windows 7 is pretty much an enhanced version of Vista. (He has Vista, I have Windows 7.) But, I've never heard of it before!
I wish I could help you. I'll ask my son about it. He's pretty much a hard-core computer geek and, if anyone can help you, he probably could. As soon as I hear back from him, I'll let you know.
I couldn't tell you why your computer doesn't recongize you. If you've changed your hair color, perhaps it's reading the tiny bit of hair that it can actually "see". Don't quote me on that, though.
I once had a computer that I was trying to set up a password on in order to log on. I inadvertantly hit "Enter" before I had typed in a password. So, when it was looking for a password and the password was nothing at all, it simply wouldn't open. I asked a guy at Best Buy if there was a way I could get in to fix this problem and he told me to simply open the computer, find the button battery and remove it, then I could get in. Then, replace the battery and select a pssword, being VERY careful to not hit the Enter button until I was ready this time. LOL
Is this a desktop you're using? If so, there should be a button battery inside and, maybe, removing it will allow you to get in. Good luck!
