Have you heard of these freaks? they protest soldiers funerals. They stand in the way and tell the mothers of these soldiers that their kids got what they deserved. This will help you understand who and what they are http://www.adl.org/learn/ext_us/WBC/default.asp?LEARN_Cat=Extremism&LEARN_SubCat=Extremism_in_America&xpicked=3&item=WBC Now a father of a soldier has been ordered to pay $16000 for their court costs. I understand that justice should be blind, but oh my goodness. Here is the story http://video.foxnews.com/v/4130129/fallen-marines-fathers-legal-battle What is your opinion of this group? What do you think of the appellate courts decision?

lol I understand! Ya know, westboro gets their money by provoking people to attack them, then they sue. There little group is one family and they are mostly lawyers. Dont be fooled, I dont think they even care about the publicity, but I will tell you this, they are loaded.

There is such a judge, they call themselves Christians... we will see. It is one thing to ask forgiveness, but you must be repentant.

I would be their perfect target, because I would be so pissed, I would go bonkers. I would throw headstones at them, or anything near me. They are so sick! And they know the laws and manipulate them like this. Amazing. One day, they will get a judge that gives it to them. Karma, right?

The members of Westboro Church should be ashamed of them selves. Where is the little light in their head that should be going off, and should be saying, "We are all human, lets have some compassion." Is their heart so hard that they lack any compassion. It disgust me that the family has been ordered to this Church 16,000 dollars. The appellate court was probably correct, but it does not make it right.

While I personally find them to be out there and well crazy. They have a right to push there beliefs on everyone else "Freedom Of Speech" So yeah they get to say things like 9/11 was because gays and gay supporters lived there and all these terrible acts was God passing his judgments down on people. Well they seem to get people mad at them and they when court cases because they push right up to the line that would make what they are doing against the law. Oh and just a little side note, They have a lot of enemies including a group known as 4chan and the Hackers/Computer users on this site who are mostly intelligent and do some questionable things. 4chan members have used the guy fox masks to interrupt one of there rallies by taking down there signs and generally causing problems I believe that it was in Hawaii and the police didn't stop 4chan from doing this. 4chan is an online board that is all about being anonymous so that no one knows who is in it. They also came up with the rules of the internet and a bunch of internet things because everyone that is an advance computer user or is a Internet user like there whole life is dedicated to the internet has heard of 4chan and there small problems that they create. :) I am lucky to live in a city like Portland Oregon which has a lot of 4chan people in it. :)

Yeah. There is limits to freedom of speech like yelling fire in a movie theater would be illegal because it would cause a panic and people would get injured. This group of people use two things in the constitution so that it allows them to say these things they have successfully formed it into a religion so now you have the Freedom to practice said Religion that spreads a message of God hating Everyone. Which hey I can see since you know "We have messed up his creation" (that is of course there is a god which is another topic)

I think this is absolutely horrific! This group should be dismantled. They are so hateful, and sick and twisted. I am scared, but some constitutionalists may protect their right to free speech, and consider what they did legal, and within their rights. Hate begets hate - they will be lucky if no one attempts an assassination on them.

This whole group (family) are lawyers and do this so that somebody will take a swing at them. Hence they sue the person. They are wicked people. I do believe there are plenty of attempts on their lives. I believe in our constitutional rights. This is beyond that, there should be a little humanity in the situation.
