I was accused of mean mugging someone...

This is probably one of the funniest things that has happened to me recently. I was at work the other day minding my own business when my friend came up to me to ask me if I was okay. She thought that I was in a bad mood because one of the girls at the other store said that I was mean mugging and glaring at her. I didn't even know what was going on. It turned out to be this misunderstanding and we had a great laugh about it. I had taken my glasses off (I'm practically blind as a bat without them) so I was doing a lot of squinting. Apparently, the girl working in the shop across the way from me thought I was glaring at her (I was looking straight ahead) the entire time and she was freaking out. So, my friend had to play the middle-man role and clear things up. Has this happened to anyone else before?

Yeah, I do have occasions when I don't put on my glasses. Then some friends met me and signalled to me, but they are quite disappointed and confronted me because I didn't response to them though I'm looking at them all the time ( I obviously can't see them clearly). It's only on closer encounter that I can see them properly.

I know what you mean. I've had friend be mad at me because they thought I was ignoring them when they waved at me. It got to the point where they know not to be offended for my lack of response when they see me without my glasses on. My eyesight is pretty bad and I can only see things if it's right in front of my face.

We were little kids in a classroom and I belong at the front row. At my left sits a sharply sensitive girl. She wasnt looking and someone from behind her touched her. She noticed the sensation and looked at me with penetrating eyes. She then pinched me like a mad chicken. I guess she got curious how I would react so she did it.

That is kind of funny in a way. I remember similar experience when I was younger. I was a bit quiet so the other kids would try to get a reaction by poking or tapping me with their pencil and things like that. That was when I intentionally unleashed an intense glare at the perp.
