That annoying Vevo player on Youtube

I really have a love/hate relationship with that Vevo player that is used for some of those videos on Youtube. There are days when everything is fine and it works peferctly. And there are days when it does not work at all. I'd get stuck watching the advertisement and then it would freeze up preventing me from watching the video I clicked on. Some days it even freezes up my whole laptop forcing me to restart everything. Those are the most annoying days. Another thing I don't like is that I use DVDVideoSoft and I can't download any video that uses the Vevo player. I didn't find that out until after I downloaded a few videos. It was a complete waste of a few hours. Anyone else feel annoyed with it?
