The foundation of a bountiful harvest!

Today, I am talking about people who graduated in college and people who just finished his secondary level of education. Who between the two is more productive on his living? Who between the two get the higher salary, and who get the less? Or who get the better living? Now I am trying to compare the effectiveness of both theoretical knowledge we get from finishing our courses and the actual knowledge we get from working, and trying to compare its benefits to us. When we study, we spend money; when we work, we receive salary. Both are essentials tools for our life in the future. In the new perspective, people should not end working as an employee in his entire lives. He must invest something for a living. In other words, he must put up something to improve his life----business. Finally, this thing leads me of thinking that our future depends on how we dealt with it. We should not be assured of what we finished in school. Finishing a degree doesn’t mean sticking to it even many times we are rejected in the kind of field---that is why there are thousands of unemployed these days. I am not rather saying that we should not finish our tertiary education and work ahead after our days in high school, yet, we should find our luck right then, or is there any luck? Or I am saying that we should be wise always. We should not stick to any unfruitful activities. We should spread our wings up wide… Both education and actual knowledge in working are so essential to us… so we should use this for bountiful harvests… How about you? What are your views? *Everyday here on myLot is Learning and Fun* Prime

yes you are right, education and actual knowledge in working are so essential to us because this is our foundation. But if you compare the college graduate than a highschool usually college grad has more advantage in receiving high salary. But there are people that turn rich without a degree. for me, whatever your level of achievement in life and you strive for what you want to be then you will become one, right? there are people I know that work for 20 years as an employee their life just become stagnant just the same. But as you said we should not stick to any unfruitful activities, we should spread our wings up wide... so we can improve the quality of our life and it all depend on how we use our life.! there are few people i know of that has really a degree, pass board exam but their life is not productive while i know some friends that is only highschool grad but their life is more productive..maybe it all add up in the saying that goes : IT'S ALL UP TO YOU! life is what you make it.!

hi prime for one thing look at the job market and think about what jobs are plentiful and what are scarce and get educated in the fields where you are really needed depending of course on where your interests lie, and in college look for internships when You graduate so you might get a step up on others by working in the field you are trained for, so its worth finding out.,do not depend entirely on luck but on basic smarts. look over the job field and plan accordingly and you will be almost assured of a job. good luck and God bless .

i know a lot of people from here who are already working though they never reached college or even finished their high school. and i also know lots of people who have finished a college course, without a degree but still able to work in offices. the luckiest of them are those professionals, degree holders, licensed, etc. because they have good jobs and receive high salaries and more benefits. those in my first level, mostly receives low salary because they can't get better jobs. only because they are not degree holders. and what others called them, high school grads. the second level, they can work in the offices but they will be stuck with their job position and salary until such time that they have better learning with the job or study more to aim for a high position. or if they can work better with the others in the office, perform better than others and apply for promotion. the third level only means they are satisfied or well lived with their salary and position. mostly, they are chief of offices or the bosses. my experience lies in the second level. not so much with the salary i receive. though i know much of the office's operation and i know i perform better than the others. but i cannot just aim for a higher position because i could be under qualified. if i have to study again to get a degree, impossible because if i go back schooling, how can manage it when i still have kids in college, high school and grade school? i also cannot think of doing a business, it needs a lot of money to invest and i have nothing more. i should concentrate with my present job and with my kids schooling. maybe, time will come, out lives will get better when they finish their studies and it's their time to look for their own living. or at least, we can help each other in expenses, with the other children.

You are right neil, and time will come your children would give back the goodness to you. who knows that after they finished their school, they would help you put up some business. You are just doing the exact thing now, I appreciate the patient you have... well, what we need in our life is contentment, if we are contentment with this life, so it's allright. There is no need for luxury, as long as we are happy living with our family. And it is right, putting some business needs amount. Those persons that started from scratch are so lucky, of course they are some business that need skills rather than a big capital. Actually I am still undergrad now, 1 year left in college. But I do not know when should I go back school, well I enjoy my life now... We are just concentrating on the business of my brother, I guess he needs me this time. Thanks for the wonderful sharing buddy. And Good luck to your children... God bless...

Hi prime, Well, basically education is the only treasure that our parents can give us and can never be taken away from us. Spending something today for our future is just the way our world goes. We all know that not all we learn in school can be applied in our work, experience is still the best knowledge anyone of us can learn. My point is in everything that we do, we treasure it and enjoy. Always be proactive and never stop learning.. Everyday should be a never ending learning...
