How crazy does this sound? It sounded crazy enough to peak my interest to look into it. How do I come across these bizarre things, I don't know, but I do. Of course I find most of these things on my favorite PTC site. So, I looked into it, I signed up (hey, it was FREE, why not?). So, as I was saying, I signed up and am now ready to go test the waters on this thing. They want to pay me to get license plate numbers and note the business address where I saw it. Is this part of some census thing? I don't know, but it was FREE to join so what harm could it do? The mimimum payout is $25. All you do is enter the information for a maximum of five plates a day. Seems simple enough right? I think I can do this. And you can "invest" $1 for a three day trial to be a marketing affiliate of this program or $14.95 a year. Hey, that's cheap. I can afford to invest that. So, yes I decided to try that also. We'll see how it goes. And of course I'll keep my fellow Mylotters up to date on my progress. Has anyone else tried this? Heard of this? I'm interested in knowing your feedback. Thank you.

Id staty far away from this for a couple reasons. first and formost, it is ilegal in a lot of states to do this unless reporting a crime. Second, the guy running the program has been responsable for running a number of pyramid scams, is the company by any chance called "DNA"? If so, it's the same guy. third....it is just plain orwellian and smacks of "big borther" to be doing this. I know if I caught someone randomly copying down my license plate number, I would likely get out and smash them right in the jaw for it.

What exactly is/was the scam you speak of? You can't just say something is a scam you should give the details. Also, how is something that is shown to the public illegal to write down? People do it all the time when they see a personalized plate they may like or can't figure out. It's not like it's someones social security number. It's something known to the public. Which has a sticker on it tell if the plate is valid, what county, etc. It's not like you're stalking people and writing down residential addresses. The vehicle's are being seen in a public location. And as far as "big brother" he aint going no where as long as technology keeps getting better. Focus on protecting your identity from the nut jobs that live around you, because stressing about fighting big brother is a waste of time. That's time and energy that would be better spent with your loved ones. But anyway, thanks for the info and feedback. I appreciate any and all responses.

I cant find the page right now...but do a better business beuro check on them and find all the alternate names he has used. Just llok very carefully in to it. I will still stand by my statementr though, there is no need for someone to be buildign a data base like this....the DMV already has one if the need arises. We already accept far too much of this kind of thing i would also double check the laws in your state on it....be carefull

Okay, thanks for the heads up. Like Moses said "dont be afraid and stand firm". And I do see your point, however, I can also agree with what the site says that carlots would buy this report to track down their vehicles better to be repossesed. I'm all about someone making money and having whatever type of business. And sometimes people get burned if its not spelled out in black and white or people are too greedy and impatient not to read the fine print. The problem with a lot of the internet stuff is that people wanna get rich now. And as long you have a system, a criteria, and some standards but more importantly a limit to risk, you won't get burned. Thanks again. It's been a pleaseure.

you should not invest in sites. you never know what will happen to the money that you spend or where it will go. i think that if those sites offer you to invest in them or if they require you to invest in them then i think they are going to scam you.

I have heard of one, but the one I searched for you had to pay and That is not in my category unless it is a BBB rated business which I am doing as well. I would like to know if all of it is free though.

I think and hope I covered your questions in the previous response I gave. There is a portion of being absolutely free.
