Yes, I would say 'Beware of trying to scam the site. They surely will check (by the times) how long you are taking to read and rate and if you are not reasonably consistent, they will almost certainly reject some or all of your ratings. Many sites will only do a manual check when you are close to payment or request payment and this leads to a lot of sites being branded as 'scam' when they are not (it also leads to a lot of sites only being discovered to be scamming when people request payment, of course).
If you know how to use a spreadsheet, it is not too difficult to check your own consistency.

in your profile in readbud, there's the summary of the articles read and how long you read it before you gave the rating. so when you request payment, they will review it and will check if it's valid. as you noticed, there are different prices on different length of the articles, so there is a certain amount of time you should spent on each article.

I came across this discussion when I was looking for a review for Readbud. I just signed up last night and I got $.82 for reading 13 articles. Since it offers a higher rate than any other online jobs, I was tempted to sign up and the articles are quite interesting too and of course, rating the articles is easier than other task.
Many has been telling that this is scam because the minimum payout is $50 and the articles they could be rating has lessened everyday. I don't know if it's legit but I will still give it a shot. who knows?

I'm searching for reviews on there right now and I have yet to find someone with payment proof. The site it too new yet.

I just started today and after reading a numerous of forums on it, I do believe it is a scam. NO ONE has payment proof !

i have never used that site before. but i tried to sign up for it. but every time i try to sign up for it it keeps saying incorrect security code! please try again. and i keep putting the correct security code. but it wont let me get my account activated.

readbud is a strange site!!so i am amember on readbud me too but till now i did not reach the payout so i don't know if in reality it is a legit site or not..i sa many members here searching for reviews about this site but for the moment i think that nothing of sure we can know about it!!
