Have you ever waited too long to get a new pair of shoes?

You look down and notice, good grief I need new shoes? Last weekend I told my hubby enough! He needed new shoes. In my opinion, they weren't fit even to do the lawn work. I am sure they were comfy for him..but they looked like they were going to fall apart on his feet.

I finally just replaced a pair of sneakers on Monday. I'd been needing to replace them for a couple months, not sure why I didn't. I needed to replace my everyday sneakers at the same time as the gym sneakers... so I bought gym sneakers first. Then I finally got around to buying winter boots, and was wearing them up until a few weeks ago. Then I just didn't have the cash to get sneakers. I learned my lesson about buying Walmart shoes.. never again! The last pair I bought only lasted me a month, and they were my gym shoes that I only wear for an hour a day. So Monday we went to Payless and I bought a pair of Champion fitness shoes.. they're like the Reebok ones that are supposed to help tone your legs.. just a different brand, cheaper! So far so good, but my legs are killing me lately! Not sure if it's from the shoes or from the million lunges the aerobics instructor made us do on Tuesday!

i experienced this in grade school. My shoes where slit at the back. But i liked those shoes cuz it isn't that hard inside. My mom reminded herself several times of buying me a new one but she always forgot but i didn't mind. Lol.

Yeah it has already happen to me that my walking shoes padding has become more thinner that the padding can no longer shield my feet when i accidentally step in the wet parts of the street and that salary is still too long to wait, those were the hard days, its like i couldn't afford to buy myself something.
