Barcelona - Arsenal 2:2 ! What a fantastic game !!!

Hi ivelinr, It is truly a great football. Both team play their heart out and at the end end they share the spoil. Arsenal ability to turn the game after being two nil down has shown their true color. They were a team of great fight spirit and if they can do that for the rest of the season, they would not ended this season empty hand again. It would be a great advantage for Barcelona in the second leg. Not only they would play at their own turf, Nou Camp, they also have score two away goals. While Barcelona has to play the second leg without Charles Puyol and Gerard Pique, Arsenal also will without the service of Cesc Fabregas and William Gallas. It would be sad for them especially Gallas because it might his last match for this season after a calf muscle injury.

A great game with superb attacking style shown by both teams.Arsenal showed a great mental strength to comeback from 2 goals down.Its still going to be explosive in the Nou Camp next week eventhough Fabregas,Pique and Puyol unavailable.Almunia saved some great chances and conceded a weak first goal when he shouldnt rushed out.Hoping for Arsenal to go through. =)

I was stunned by the first 45 minutes of the game. Barcelona were doing to Arsenal, what Arsenal tend to do to a lot of teams the world over. Barcelona was so dominating and were running Arsenal ragged that it was surprising that the scoreline was still 0-0 at the interval. Almunia was the person who kept Arsenal in the tie. But immediately after the re-start he let himself down with indecisiveness leading to Ibra's first goal. The second goal was fantastic vision form Xavi which left the makeshift Arsenal defense clueless. But when Walcott came into the field, things changed rapidly. He scored almost with his first touch and then was involved in the move that gave the penalty for Fabregas to score. But both teams lost key players for the return leg. Arsenal will definitely miss out Fabregas and Gallas. Also there is a big possibility that Arshavin might not play. Barcelona would be without Piquet and Puyol in the defense for the return leg. I am just waiting for that match to begin. Cheers! Ram

i think barcelona deserve to win in this match as they have many opportunities to score many goals, especially in first half. but manuel almunia played very well, he make fantastic save of his gate. i think in the second leg barcelona will win around 2-0

The game is Fantastic, especially ending the series .. hopefully the next game more attractive and hopefully Barcelona won...:)

iam missing to see the great game,i only see the highlights. wow, but i can say this is a great game. many incident here, puyol get red card, and pique doesnt play in second league, arshavin and fabregas too, can not play in second league.thats a pity. but great for wenger can show again his smart when his team is under pressure

Yes yes after the first half hour I thought Arsenal will receive a good thrashing, I chose him and injuries ut Wenger said that Arsenal is a big oach's favorite skill:)
