Who will you vote for in the Philippine presidential elections?

As you all know the Philippine presidential elections is fast approaching. Up until now many people including myself are still ambivalent as to who is the best candidate who can possibly save our nation from poverty and corruption. For the past decades, the Philippines unfortunately had presidents who were known to be very corrupt. A lot of our candidates promise a new kind of government. How about you, who is your presidential bet?

I am not sure if I would vote for Gibo and Gordon. I had seen Gibo's credentials yesterday and i have noticed that he has the most credentials and honor amongst all presidentiables. and it is likely that i vote for him. I just need to read more about Gordon. I just hope that Filipinos be wise and mature enough to choose wisely for the upcoming elections.

Gibo definitely has an astonishing credentials. I have no doubt that gibo could run a country like ours. He is indeed very brilliant and has good plans for our nation. Good observation, Ms. Graceekwenx. But what do you think of our past presidents who were also very brilliant but still ended up being corrupt? Instead of using their intelligence for the good and the welfare of the people, they used it for their own personal gain. As a result, the rich became richer; the poor became poorer. What ever happened to the budget alloted to the farmers (remember that controversy?), money alloted for books in schools, medicines for the indigent, all seems to be scarce. I hate to think of it, but corruption is the reason. I join you graceekwenx in encouraging the filipinos to vote wisely. The future of your children depends on it. All the best!

would you be referring to GMA renzoray? i am a pro-admin person. i assure you has approved budget for all the indigents and the farmers, the problem is.. where has the money gone? like for instance, she has approved 2M budget for residents who lost their houses in the fire here in Mandaluyong. the problem is, it has never reached the people. where has the money gone? she may not be corrupt but the people around her are corrupt. this is one good reason why we should pray for our leaders as well. they are very prone to pride and power.

Thank you for the comment, graceekwenx. Then how do we solve a problem like this? No matter who we elect as president, still the people around him takes away money to satisfy their own interest. Just as you mentioned that president GMA approved huge budget for calamities but it has never reached the people. I guess the problem is in the system. If only we can find a leader who can possibly change the system; if only we can find someone who has the heart for the filipinos; if only we can truly find someone who can raise us up from poverty, then perhaps our nation will be a better place to live on. All the best! By the way guys, what do you think of Mr. Manny Villar and Mr. Noynoy Aquino?

I will be voting for Gibo Teodoro, yes he might not be as popular as manny "the poor" Villar or Noynoy Aquino but i believe Gibo has what it takes to fill in the presidency seat. Hes got the brain, the strategy the means to be the next president. We should at least learn from our mistakes from the past a popular president wont do us any good.We need someone whose pretty much determined to do what it takes to take this country out of slumber. Its time for us to wake up from the reality that poverty cant be eradicated by just one man, it takes a whole country to fight it off ,so if you truly love your country then try to think twice and vote not just a popular president

Gibo indeed is one of the strongest candidates. He is one of the most brilliant persons in the government today. His track record and educational history is amazing. I personally beleive in his strengths and have no doubt that he can run a country like ours. But dont you think we are repeating history? We elected a president before who is also brilliant, had education in a foreign land, and has indeed the brains to back it up. But what happened? Still that president was not able to take this country out of slumber. Corruption, lies, deception, were still prevalent. Perhaps a good president should not just have the brains, but also the heart and compassion for the Filipino people. What do you think?
