What do you think about the future?

Many will give anything to know what the future holds for them .I have seen many clutch to horoscopes and different writings just to get a glimpse of the future, I however do know that getting to know about predictions takes the shine out of the process called life
For instance if you know that for sure you will make a million dollars in the next 1 year would you actually work so hard to make it doubt that.
There is this story told in my culture that two friends went to see a sooth sayer who predicted that one will become very rich while the other will become poorer .This created a set of mixed feelings.
Thus ,the one who was told would become rich went back home and just relaxed waiting till his riches would come but the other who was expected to become poorer was in pain and decided to make a living as a farmer and over time he made enough to become one of the most successful farmers in the area .
After 5 years both friends went back to the sooth sayer to ask what happened as the farmer is now rich and successful and the other friend poverty stricken. Here is the sooth sayer”s response “I told you, that you will be rich but did you work towards it? And I told you will be poorer but you worked to ensure you are successful, and here you are today congratulations”
And finally he said to become either wealthy or poor its in your hands .you need to work to make predictions work and your success or failure lies in your own hands.
Now what do you think? Would you sit and wait for riches if you were told that you would become rich at a particular time or point in your life?

I never think about the future for i live life the way it use to be. I don't believe about getting mistake from past that makes a future waste because if you really wanted to have a bright future then work hard for it. Even how many mistakes you've been thought but you can still make it by standing up and making up those mistakes a learning to be cherished.

hie byola, this is interesting. the soothsayers, the fortune tellers, the fung shui masters, the card reader, the parrot card reader, tea leaves reader, tarrot cards readers , the gypsies and the mediums earn their living because people keep on going to see them and ask about their fortune and future. as one fung shui master put it,' when you see fung shui masters, each have their own stories and versions. they cannot tell you everything is okay. if they predict everything okay, they wont earn any money from you'. thus they say something like you have to do this and that. after a period of time, you will go back to them and inquire further. i think it is best to think for yourself. to me, there is nothing like acquiring knowledge, information, then understanding the knowledge gain. after this apply the knowledge with understanding and wisdom. make a descision based on the above factors. one thing i know for sure, have to work hard and struggle on in our choesen field and career or business. there will be ups and downs, frustrations and disppointments and more discouragements along life's journey. just have to press on and push on till get the results of what we want.when we fall down, we 'cry' but still have to get up on our feet and go on. may take years or decades. never quit and never give up. a successful man works hard in adversity while a mediore man at times give up. dont do that. so rely on yourself, persevere and work hard. to me, there is a GOD factor also, in my opinion. GOD is the creator, possessor and provider. so i acknowledge His power and His presence, grace mercy and favours in my life. i pray to Him to bless me and grant me and my family health and prosperity to live comfortably on planet earth. i give Him thanks, praise and glorifies Him always.this is my belief in the Word Of God. thanks for sharing your thoughts byola.

hi byola I was taught as a child that God helps those who help'themselves so you do not wait for something to happen you work to make it happen
and by and by maybe you will be really successful . nothing good willjust fall into your lap, you have to go after it if you want it, it will not'come to you,you have to go after it and get it.

NO one ever tells the right future. If anyone tells that then he must be the GOD. I dont believe in God and also i Don't believe in predictions and horoscopes. I believe in me if i think i can change the future then i will and whatever i want.

the future for me would be an everyday surprise. all of us doesn't know what would happen next. then we must expect the unexpected. our past would affect our present. thus we must do what we want to do today because today's decision would be tomorrow's regret. we must be wiser enough to make decisions. one little choose may change our future.

I have many planning for future.. firstly i want to get good jobs.. and after that i want to fulfill my dreams.. like a sweet home of my dream, a car .. etc.. and also i want to open a my own software company.. so now i doing hard work for fulfill my all dreams.. have a nice day and keep mylotting always..
