My birthday falls on black saturday, what a blessing!

I feel so blessed this year because my birthday falls this Black Saturday (April 3, it's "sabado e gloria" in Spanish, I feel very blessed with this occasion because this is the day where the whole Catholic world will celebrate a high mass in honor for the upcoming resurrection of Jesus (Easter Sunday). The glorification offering to Christ and all the Saints is just a wonderful occasion to commemorate. I am wishing all my dreams and come true finally this year.
Have you ever experience once in your life time the same occurrence?

Yes, today is Black Saturday and it's my birthday! I feel so blessed, hope every wish I made a while ago while attending the mass in preparation for Easter and Christ's resurrection, will all come true. Thank you for this wonderful birthday greetings!

Ive never experienced that but would like to wish you happy birthday, or since you mentioned sabado e gloria would also like to wish you Feliz Cumpleanos (hope thats right, spanish is not my strong side) hope it brings you everything you wish.

If or not your birth day falling on the 'black Saturday' brings you happiness, luck and prosperity is not my point. What I look forward is the feeling of elation in you is more important.
That you are excited over this juxtaposition right from now and would be the whole year would surely bring something positive your way as you become more confident and morale boosted whatsoever task you undertake.

I'm sitting here thinking, and I don't actually remember my birthday ever falling on the Saturday before Easter. I know that it has fallen on Palm Sunday many times throughout my life and I've even had my birthday to fall on Easter Sunday twice in my life (when I turned 18 in 1998 and then last year when I turned 29). Even having my birthday on these two important Sundays is a blessing to me. I feel truly blessed that my birthday falls within the Easter season because it is such a period of joy and blessing.

Oh thank you so much for your nice response and advance greetings. Yes, it will be a great day for me, but since it's black saturday, I won't be celebrating my special day with anything but just a simple thanksgiving prayer, I will just light a candle. No cake of course, I wo'nt eat any luxurious food too, since I promised myself to do some sacrifices at the duration of Holy Week. I also prayed a novena to St.Jude and one of my self-mortification is to eat pure rice, fish or vegetables only and no special food. I hope all my dreams come true. Thank you and Happy Easter in advance!
