we had gotten some mice in the house recently and they got some of those old traps that you set an snap down which are really fun to try to set without snapping it on yourself. I was thinking isn't there a better more humane way to deal with the mice without snapping them with these traps? I know mice can be a pain to us, especially if they get into the walls or get into our food, but they are creatures too and I just wish there was a better way to deal with them without having to snap them with the traps. any thoughts on this would be nice to hear.

If it comes down on their neck, they die fairly instantly. With the glue traps, they just get stuck there and start screaming and cursing at you.

There are actually live traps you can buy to catch mice with. I used them awhile back in my house. Thing is don't use cheese or peanut butter, they seem to have grown away from that. I use pasta or a bit of tuna, chicken. Most of the time it has some flavor of spices we have used in making our meals. It worked..

yeah they use the peanut butter here and they have caught a few and one was still alive and only had its foot caught so I wonder if there is a better way then these snap traps for them cause it seems a harsh way to go.
