Violations, violations, violations.

I've noticed that there have been a trend for certain users to keep violating guidelines. I don't know if anybody else noticed, but they just keep doing it despite the many warnings they have received. I find it a bit sad because it seems like they're abusing the system. I do believe that they are well aware of the violation they are doing since they have been around for a pretty long time now. It doesn't seem to bother them at all even if their discussion gets deleted because by the time it does they've already gotten the exposure they wanted. I'm trying my best to be discreet about this and not to aim this discussion directly to a certain person or group of individuals, but I just feel that some people are abusing policies. Doing it once is okay, but if you keep doing it again and again it's just plain WRONG.

pocketrocket what exposure are you talking about, do you really think that these violators will still get paid for all their deleted' discussions? they are not getting a damned thing out of it as people' here are getting fed up with losing their responses because someone thinks its fun to get their discussions deleted. no they get no exposure or prizes or any acclaim. unless we could give out prizes for idiotic behavior. Of course its wrong and these people will only be here for a few months, get pissed because they did not make any money at all, and holler that mylot is a fraud. sad but too true.

i can say that even old timers, not only newbies commit certain violations. but yes, as you have said, some violators are even abusive. well, as long as i suspect the post will get removed due to violations, i ignore them.

You are so right, and I have warned users about not violating the rules, and that is all any of us can do. If they continue to violate the rules, then it on them, as they have told time and again not to do it, but it like you said, that they are just vying for attention, and to me that is wrong. They either don't care, or they are just trying to post as many as they can so they can earn. They just don't understand, that when their discussions get deleted, then they won't earn anyway. It is really crazy the way some people think, but hey none of us are perfect, but at least most of us will not violate the rules once we are told what they are. You can bet that mylot will take care of it, as they stay right up on things. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I'm not so hard than you. Spammers violating guidelines are generally boring, but some are creative. I saw one coming yesterday with "I'm now earning $1000 with a site" and today with "I made my first cashout in two hours"... I always had fun with pitchmen ! But you are right, it's wrong, and I think that their victims don't forget to rate them negatively...

It seems like a lot of people here post just for the heck of it. I find it stupid though and most of the time there would be somebody to remind them that they are violating rules but they keep on doing this. There are a lot of newcomers too who doesn't read the guidelines, you'll notice it right away on their posts. They think they can post just anything to earn faster. There is no such thing as fast money here unless you post anything with substance.

These violators, if they only knew what is "spam", then I guess they will be more careful in participating here. What they do actually (their blatant promotion of their online opportunities referral links) is another form of "spamming".
