Kids should stay fit

In recent study it shows that children who lives a sedentary lifestyle where six times likelier to suffer serious heart disease later in life than those with active children. So they advice parents to encourage their kids to keep away from spending too much time watching television or playing video games and rather keep healthy by playing outdoor games in order to avoid the consequences later in life.

I agree that children, and also teenagers and adults, should exercise more. Modern day society makes us rushed and eager to please forgetting our own fun and games. I believe exercise should be fun and it can be but a lot of people feel obligated to go to a gym or work out. Once something becomes an obligation most people loose the joy of it. It's a good thing that gameconsoles like Nintendo Wii come up with more active games. It's still not a replacement for outdoor activities, but I do believe it's a lot healthier than a sitcom and a bag of crisps.

Hi Care, At an early age, the kids must be informed or educated about healthy diet and eating. they must be trained to be an appreciation of eating healthy and nutritious foods. they must be exposed to eating vegetables and fruits. they also must be to the importance exercise and healthy lifestyle.

yeah i agree with you, kids are more prone to diseases in today's life. There is no physical activity for them and all the comfortable work makes them obese which ultimately results diseases for them. Kids who watch tv and sit infront of computers for many hors will get heart attack. This is proven scientifically. So, better make kids to involve in more physical activity rather than watching tv or computers.
