Khuay's revenge

After all these months of scaring the daylights out of Khuay, he finally go his revenge. I still laugh over it. I have a rolling brief case to carry my books for class. I get home and do some studying so of course I take my books out of the case. I only have class on Tuesday and Thursday nights so I leave the case open and the books beside my chair. This morning I got up and wasn't feeling very good. I had the start of a migraine, so I took some migraine medication to knock it out. The medication makes me groggy so I really don't like taking it if I have to go somewhere; but I figured that it would be okay since I didn't have to go anywhere until around 2 p.m. I got dressed and started doing my morning chores, feeding cats and dogs and cleaning the litter box. Before I knew it the time had come to get ready to leave for school. I went in and changed clothes and noticed Khuay on the bed. The others were accounted for too so no one escaped when I wasn't looking. I then took care of a couple more things and then went to put my books into my brief case. I reached in to make sure my pencil was in the case and I felt something warm and hairy!!!! I couldn't help it when the warm hairy thing moved, I screamed blue murder (when my feet touched the floor again from my jumping out of my skin)!! I honestly thought I would pass out because I knew all the cats were in the bed room. I backed off and debated about calling a neighbor when suddenly the brief case moved again and a head popped out of the open slot...Khuay had climbed into the case to finally get his chance to inspect it. I swear he crawled in with scaring the crap out of me on his furry little mind... Has your cat gotten even lately?

Cats can do the strangest things. Though none of my cats have done anything like that. Chinnia once decided to get her revenge on George, my partner, by ignoring him for an entire day when George took her "snow" away so the health inspector wouldn't see it. You see our cat, Chinnia, likes to turn paper products into snow. She shreds it and it becomes her own personal snow ball. Quite funny if you ask me, but Yeah. Poor cat.

Oh, you have a shredder too! That's Khuay's nickname. He loves rolls of paper towels in particular. I got up one morning to find the "snow" in the kitchen and I was wondering what caused it. I figured out that it was paper towels but I didn't get the answer until about a week later when I caught Khuay with the roll in his mouth dragging his prized prey off to the bedroom to finish the "kill". Bits and pieces of paper towel flew everywhere! I soon learned that NO piece of paper was safe in the house. If it's important I store it in the desk immediately. I've had to turn in college assignments with claw and tooth marks on them. Fortunately the teachers all know about my critters and get a big kick out of getting "Khuayed".
