Although the T20 format is named as Indian Premier League, there are many Champion australians playing in the tournament. 5 australians have scored centuries in IPL but only 2 indians, please keep it in mind that ipl was started to find the good future of indian cricket. but aus got two good talents from ipl watson and shaun marsh. watson got a good platform to show his full strength and marh got the good chance to enter aus cricket. david hussey also got a good arena for to exhibit his caliber. no other country is contributing in ipl as the aus do. why is it so? only aus have more quality players?? 1.gilly 2.symonds 3.S.warne 4.watson 5.marsh 6.B.lee 7.hayden 8.S,tait 9.D.hussey 10.Dwarner and lot more ........ in this ipl also warner got the century so its aus rocking in ipl. the next to aus will be SA but australians are very god in ipl than any other nation players(excluding india).Do you accept it? and ipl is a good earning option for the retired good cricketer, everyone who retires from international cricket is making use of ipl very well.some make retirement to play ipl. i think B.lara is the one famous player who didnt participate in ipl and lost a good earning source.

Yeah you are right when you stated that the Aus are faring much better than the Indians in the ipl..however I beg to differ with you on one point that Indians failed to deliver. It is the Indian players who are making the difference in the result of a game remember that only four foreign players are allowed to play in a single game this means that there are 7 domestic players and if they hadn't performed then the centuries scored by their overseas recruit wouldn't have counted..I also like to mention that even the Pakistanis and Srilankans are faring well in the ipl..Now the reason why Australians are such a hit may be due to 1)They are well aquainted with Indian conditions..2)They don't experience the crowd pressure and can handle it very well,3)They are mentally very strong and have a big heart which is needed to play a t20 game in which situation can change within a span of 5-6 balls and 4)They are playing fearless cricket which is a characteristic of the Australians.Even India got a few talented players like Vinay Kumar and Yousuf Pathan from this format. It's true that retired cricketers are making good use of ipl but remember that they are performing well too which shows that they possess real class..some are retiring from international cricket to play for ipl more as the fees are quite high and handsome in ipl.Brian Lara may be available in the 4th edition of ipl.

I do not know about the players, but captains wise Aussies have dominated. The first version was won by Shane Warne led Rajasthan Royals. The second edition was won by Adam Gilchrist led Deccan Chargers. No Indian captain has yet lifted the IPL trophy just yet. That is why this season I want either Sachin, Gambhir, Dhoni, Kumble or Dada to lift the trophy. Cheers! Ram

Briefly, I would like to say that IPL is not about the countries, its about individuals. The individuals perform for themselves.. And some of the shining stars that have blossomed from IPL, except the Australians u mentioned, are Sohail Tanvir (Pakistan) Yousuf Pathan P. Ojha P. Kumar Tiwary Vinay Kumar Ghoni etc Also,The Australians u mentioned except Shaun Marsh, all were already well-recognized. Players like Brett Lee, Gilly or even David Hussey, donot need IPL to prove themselves. while these players came into spotlight due to IPL and thats a success :)

Well its Indians, i feel no one can equals sachins game. What a man he is? I still admire the way he hit the boundaries and sixes and what a energy and concentration he has. Though ausis are excellent, but Indians are equally good enough, which has to be agreed.

Lots of Indian Players are doing much better. I can name quite a lot and they have won matches like Sourav Ganguly, Manoj Tiwary, Robin Uttappa, Yusuf Pathan, Saurabh Tiwary, Vinay Kumar. The youngsters are playing really well.

Like the Indians, the Australians performance too has been mixed. While some like Symonds have been doing very well, some like Bret Lee and Shaun Tait have been disappointing. Same goes with the Indians. It is not whether Indians or Australians are performing better, I think it all depends on who is contributing to the overall team winnable more, that matters. Some like Warne and Dravid may not be performing great, but just their presence brings much more respect to their teams.
