Sometimes we tend to experience alot of failures and theres this sayin that when it rains it pours. They keep on coming back for more, its as if your cursed or what but you always fail with just bout anything that you do. When times like this happens what is it that you do to calm down?

the good thing about failure is that you can see who's the real person that you are with. whenever you are down, someone is there to get you back up, or if not gives you advise to help you back up. i am in a great depression right now and i can see who really is in your side, really there when you are at your worst. sadly, only 1 is there and its not a family member.

having companions is a good thing when youre down. they ease up the burden at times. if i deal with failures alone, it'll take more time for you to bounce back. but if i do have to think for myself, then i pray and ask for help. then i think of plans on how to deal with it. having plan a, plan b and plan c does work

Really talking like a ninja huh? having plans A.B,C haha but your right, failures are less of a burden when you have your friends and family to help you out, yes you might have failed but the support that these people will give you will help you to become stronger and next time tougher with these kinds of situation ;) Thank you for participating marvz

well, we just have to sit down, relax and analyze things. given that all these failures happen we have to internalize and ask ourselves "what else can we do to remedy the situation?",,, "then is there something else we can do for damage control?".. if there's none, we really have to face it and moving forwards, "what shall I do to avoid committing or encountering these things again?" ... look for self improvement.. and more importantly, ask help from others when necessary. if you think you need help from friends or family members, don't hesitate to do so. and always remember, we grow stronger for each "failures" we encounter. :)

Just what i expected a great reply, yes indeed we need to pause for a while and analyze ourselves and ask simple questions as well, like where did i go wrong? And from that point we should treat these failures as lesson in life, for us to move on and be ready next time. Its ok to fail once in a while i think that allows us to reflect more on our selves, makes us strong and even makes our personality even better too. Thanks for sharing your point of view ysabel ;)

my self-worth defines failure to me as a person. it stays with me, and i dwell on the failures a long time. i am a perfectionist and have to learn to except failure, which is so hard to do. we all make mistakes. we learn from some, others we don't. it is a lifetime process to accept failure into my life.

Yes i get your point sometimes its just hard to accept things as they are. But in time no matter how hard it is im pretty sure there will be this time that we will be able to treat failures as a learning process to help us grow and be strong so that the next time we will be victorious in the field that we failed before. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy your day

Failure is a great opportunity to learn something. Sometimes one needs to take a break, rest and think about what can be learned. Going all the time isn't a good thing. Stop, smell a few roses and reflect. We all have the power to choose what we deem important in this world. Failure is no more than a learning experience. It means nothing other than that. Ah, but those roses along life's path, they make it all worth while.

I agree with you, when we fail about anything , we should treat it as a learning process instead. We learn from our mistakes and hope that next time we wont be doing the same thing again. Its always fine to fail once in a while for us to realize that we still need constant practice and patience for us to be good in just bout everything that we do. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me and try to participate in my other topics too. Have a great day

I tend to sulk for a little while and rant about it.. really childish; i get everything out... that's how i calm down, then i go back to my optimistic little self and look forward to the future and try my best to not fail again

Hi, setsuna26. I would just pray to God about anything that is making me very depressed. And, I would calmly and irrationally think hard about what I failed at. At first I may beat myself up about it. But after that, I just learn to deal with my failure in a mature and an intelligent way. I try not to blame others especially if they are not the cause of my failures.

Whenever I fail the first thing that I do is to contemplate the funny side of my failure. The second is to forget the failure and return to what I've been doing (given that I have a deadline to meet). If I want to calm down, I take a peek outside the window at the flying doves, the cats and dogs that regularly appear in our backyard. I then give myself a rejuvenating sleep. Something like the combination of these will surely help.

Each failure of mine brought with it a great opportunity to learn. I always viewed failure as lifeblood of success. Failures are the stepping-stones for greater success. I believe that the freedom to failure also extend me a freedom to innovate.

I make myself reflect for some moments. Usually it takes more than 5 hours for me to reminisce what wrong thing have I done. Thus, whenever I can point out what has been done wrong, I make it sure that I should refrain from doing it. I do not really disappoint myself much whenever I feel like I do mistakes because they are normal. If I do, it only makes me feel like I'm stranded in the ugly provisions of life. It takes optimism to deal with your failures. That should always be the matter to move on and change.

If i fail, i can try again when there is another chance to make things successful. I just believe and trust to myself. Failures let us see what our weakness are. Just believe to your self that you can do it and you will never fail again, and learn to accept that being failure is not the end, however, it is the hint to start over again for you to succeed. When there is a failure, i seek for myself to be whole again and think positive.

Thank you guys for the help. Yes we should turn our failures to experience so that we can use them next time we are faced with the same problem again. Thank you for the advice friends and hope to see you for the next topic that i have

Yes, don't be overcome by them. Instead, overcome them. Do not dwell on the past. Look to the future and see what it might bring you. Use those failures as a challenge, a reason to do better, and to strive hard. It's enough that your overwhelmed by them from time to time, but don't always stay down. Stand up and don't be afraid to take the challenge again. This will help you gain more insight to how strong you are in times of trials.

I think only success is not teach us.. but failure also teach us.. why we failed.. because we didn't done our best.. i think.. if you try to do your best from your heart then one day you will get success surely.. so i also try this in my life.. because many times i also failed in many fields of my life.. but again and again i tried.. and at the end i get success.. have a nice day and keep mylotting always..

Yup our individual failures teaches us alot of things, makes us even stronger and keeps us motivated. Imagine if we dont fail in just everything we do then nobody needs training anymore and everybody will just be so complaisant of their abilities already. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about this and hope to see more of you in my other topics too

When I fail at something, I tend to blame myself. Sometimes I get so down and depressed, but then, there's the inner me saying: "Hey, it's not the end of everything. Heads up and cheer up! You can do better next time." After I got over the feeling, I reflect on what did I do wrong then I use those as guidelines to help me accomplish the task. Failures makes people stronger. Don't be afraid to fail. It's human nature. It gives us a purpose to improve and is a great challenge to ourselves if we can do it right the next time.

I believe you. Sometimes i tend to be discouraged when i fail on a certain task or just bout anything but then again i pick myself up and tell myself that i can do it if i just put my heart in it! Then i apply the saying try and try until you succeed. It wont be long until i will be able to do it and succeed in the said field . Thanks for participating ;)
