what is your favorite meal?

what is that one meal that you must have at least once a week if not more?
we all have foods that we like, but not all of our favorites would be considered our favorite meal.
I think mine would have to be my turkey casserole, since it is the one meal that I can make from scratch that does not come already mixed up in a pouch or a box and when I am the one that makes it I don't know why I always like it better.

personally prepared/cooked food tastes so much better especially when you love/like doing it. and since it's your creation, you will like it better. hehe
umm, can it be favorites? hehe
when i go out for a meal, i'm not really that adventurous and prefer to eat the same food/meal i've been having with my frequently visited restaurants. for rice meal set (since i'm asian) i would go for a quarter roasted chicken, a little corn or walnut muffin, a cup of carrots and corn nibblets, with a little bit of rice and finish off with iced teaa. for pizza-pasta meal, i really like a super cheesy baked macaroni or lasagna, a piece of garlic bread and a few slices of pepperoni pizza.
when at home, it's a different thing for me since we cook more varied dishes to fit with rice. i really like caldereta (a spanish based stew with lots of spices and cheese in a very thick sauce), native chicken tinola (soup base with ginger and young/raw papaya), stir-fried pork in sauteed shrimp paste (which is great with raw/green mango) and shrimp in spicy coconut milk. any of those is great for my rice meal at home. i'm fortunate enough to sometimes get 3-4 out of those 4 every week.

well as I may have mentioned somewhere along this discussion I do love lasagna.
our family is pretty good at making a baked macaroni dish that is really good.
when mom likes to make her favorite the spaghetti, which my dad is not crazy for cause he is really not a big noodle dish type person.
I'm not sure why maybe he got them too much as a kid or something anyway I will always get some of the extra garlic bread that is always good.
I do love pizza either a plain one with lots of cheese or a half pepperoni and half cheese or a pepperoni and cheese will suit me just fine.

Witty, smart, a hockey fan , and you can cook too? Wow! My all time favorite meal is pizza. My favorite type is deep dish. For my birthday every year I go to Uno's and have it. But Every week , save this one because of Passover, I have at least one type of pizza. from thin crust to self rising -hand tossed to French Bread. I even have pizza in a Hot Pocket!

You are so welcome.Thanks for the offer but no thanks. I don't cook. The closest I get to cooking is making my version of chicken and rice.I make Minutes rice in Chicken stock and add Perdue Chicken strips.10 minutes and you have dinner!

if they have french bread on sale I will always get some that is so good to bake in the oven.
I love deep dish pizza they used to have some here that was so good I just don't get to have it as much as I used to.
Thanks for the compliments that is very nice of you to say, but this dish is pretty much the best I can do that doesn't come out of a box if you are interested let me know and I'll give you the ingredients.

As far as I am concerned, I think my favorite meal for me is that I can fry the tomatoes with the eggs,which can be a so delicious dish in my area. Then I will eat that dish with the rice at the same time.I just like to eat them at the same time. Have a nice day.

I know this is horrible but i am addicted to this ready made pasta chicken dish that i can get at my local grocery store, i usually try to eat only cruelty free meat but i make an exception for this dish and next time i go to the healthy meat store I'm going to look for counter part that is manufactured more humanly.

well the only time when I have chicken and pasta together is when we go out as a family to a nice restaurant and I will get the chicken parmesean and that is usually pretty good and that is usually the only time that I eat pasta, but I really like those too together with the melted cheese it is really good.

I like seafood. I like shrimps, crabs, oyster and shellfishes. Those were my favorites. I also like eating burger meals in fastfood chains.
Mcdonald's cheeseburger plus fries and some mcnuggets. I'm getting hungry with all this thinking.

my favorite is kare-kare. it is a Philippine stew. my mother cooks mouthwatering kare-kare. it is made of stewed beef or pig's front totter, with peanut sauce and variety of vegetables - eggplant, string beans, pechay and banana bud. It is eaten with bagoong (shrimp paste). Yummy! I am already hungry.

My favorite meal is chicken briyani, its my favy ever. Every sundays we will have our favorite meal at home and i love meal with a tomato soup. I feel highly delighted with my satisfied meal.

I love Fish a lot and i cant resist without fish.But due to my health problem i am not allowed to eat fish.Because of this i feel like crying.I also love Mutton Biryani.

yeah I actually am not a big fish eater, but the last few weeks I probably had more fish sandwiches that I can ever remember having before and this time of year they are usually on sale at some of the restaurants so it was a good time to get some and I have to admit some were pretty tasty it is not my favorite thing to eat as I usually prefer chicken to fish, but sometimes its not a bad substitute.
It is too bad you are not allowed to have your favorite anymore, but you need to take care of yourself first.

My fave meal is spaghetti. I really love it a lot.
I love also eating carbonara and lasagna.
I love to eat.almost anything yummy, I haven't eaten a turkey though.
I hope I could eat one someday, and maybe it would also become my fave meal.

I also love lasagna and my mom makes a great lasagna I also love the stouffer's ones that you can get frozen at the store too, but they are a bit pricey for me to afford to get them too often, but you can have one of the family sized ones and have leftovers for days.
I hope that this discussion inspires you to go have one of your favorite meals.

my parents used to joke with me that I was going to turn into a burger, because when I was younger all I ever wanted to order when we would go out to eat was a burger with fries meal and usually that was one of the cheapest on the menu so that way I thought I was doing them a favor so it would save against the cost of the meal and usually I was able to finish it at least.

My favorite meal is the same as an adult as it was as a child. My special favorite is macaroni and cheese. I don't like the boxed variety either. I prefer homemade baked mac and cheese. Nothing tastes better in the world!

my sister and my mom make this baked macaroni and cheese casserole that is really good, but when i was younger I would love the little boxed of kraft macaroni and cheese, because it came with that yummy yellow cheese my sister loved them too though i was never the greatest at making that well.

I love curry foods...I don't really care if they are high in cholesterol and fat..I just want to taste them and eat more of them...Thank goodness that I have good metabolism, exercise a lot, and I love to eat vegies and fruits..so curry food is Go,Go for me..

well I don't know if my casserole would count in that as I do use curry powder in the sauce for it, but sometimes we just have to cheat a little as long as we don't eat the bad stuff all the time and we exercise often it shouldn't be too bad for us in the long run as it is just so good at the time we have it.

Heloo there i'm an asian maybe guys dont know what food that i mention lol, my fave food is KUPAT TAHU ??? ur curious, i'll tell u about it KUPAT TAHU is made from fried tofu mixed with kupat (kupat is basiccaly a steam rice wrapped with banana leaf)and poured with some spicy peanut sauce, it's delicious especially when u'll eat it for breakfast. come to bandung,indonesia and try it :)
But for foreign food i prefer pizza and pasta

I love any dish for as long as theres chicken in it. My love for chicken is really something , like i can eat all week where in the food on the table is merely chicken, fried chicken , etc. I might sound silly but i really dont know too i just love eating chicken, thats why sometimes im scared that i might just turn into one lol

I do love fried chicken as well and the best we have here is made by Kentucky Fried Chicken if you get the bucket it can be a bit pricey, but it always has enough for some leftovers the next day and you can get them original, grilled or extra crispy and it is very good.

spaghetti!! thats my favorite food all my life when i saw spaghetti in the restaurant or vendors selling it i will stop and buy some, i love the spaghetti that is cook by my auntie it really taste good and have on it Pinoy Style spaghetti hmm yummy i think i will look for one now! hehehe enjoy your meal everyone!

that is my mom's favorite too she always wants to get it whenever we go out and she loves to have it for her birthday meal, but she is the best one at making it in the house so kind of sucks if you have to cook for yourself on your birthday, but she is the one that makes the meals.
