soda prices are getting bad

well I just went to our local distributor and when I have some extra change I'll buy some 20 ounce sodas and when I saw the new machine and checked it out it was 1.45 for a 20 ounce soda its not like they are making the soda any bigger here.
The funny thing is they still have other machines there selling 20 ounce sodas for a 1.00 so a really tough decision which to choose.
It has been 1.25 down where my parents live for a while and is it just cause they got a new machine or is it cause the price is going up?
what is your opinion on this?

So you get the sodas from a soda machine? Yea the price of soda's are going up. We've been getting the off brand stuff as it is cheaper and tastes about the same. We'll get the higher priced brand if it's on sale but that's about the only time we do.

if we are in the grocery store and they have a sale we will get them there, but if I have some extra change and I need something to drink I'll go down to the machine, because it is close to the house and with that price I may have to think of somewhere else to go now.

It may go back down, I don't know. Yeah you may need to go for something different or try cokerwards.com I think you can get free soda's, of course you already know about the under the bottle cap thing where you can sometimes win one.
