You are greatly improving your english reading speed, you just aren't noticing it yet, because you get just a tiny bit faster each and every day. Remember my dear, it is not what is happening that determines your mood. It is what you think about what is happening, change your mind. And good things will happen to you my dear. With appreciation.

Could you explain "your responses always makes me moving" a little differently please? I think you mean, you responses always move me. Would that be correct? As in they make you feel good, or move you into a happier state of mind? I am blessed to know you. You can have an intimate friend like me, it just can't be me. Their are many others like me in the world, you will find yours, if you are patient and you persist. It is my honor to know you as well. It is my most divine pleasure to be of assistance to you in these matters of great importance. I love, honor and appreciate you.

Perfection in something can only come if you do a lot of practice as the famous saying goes 'Practice makes a man perfect'. Try reading books and magazines. Even I dont read the whole long discussion, I just skim through the the topic and if i find it useful than i give time to read it thoroughly. Hope this will solve your problem. cheers

But, what if what the man was practicing is not perfect, will that make him perfectly imperfect? Ask great questions, find people that empathize with you, read of things that interest you. But, you my dear friend ypnypn, are greatly improving each time I read your discussions I see this. With appreciation

I don't think there is much you can do beside practicing. The more you read and write the easier it will become. You will begin to recognize words without having to stop and think...I'm sure it's really slow and feels like it will take forever but the more you do something the better you become at it. Best of luck

Being a native English speaker, I can't help you a great deal. However, I think that a couple of the things that you can do that will help you with your comprehension of the English language are: take part in English conversation as often as you possibly can. Watch movies in English. Read when you can and if you don't understand what you are reading, then read it time and time again until you truly understand it.

I think you need of practice.. because if you want to improve your English reading speed.. then you may try to read English newspaper daily.. and also you can define 30 minutes each day.. and in this 30 minutes.. you you should try reading more and more.. and i think if you try this everyday.. then one day your reading speed will improve.. have a nice day and keep mylotting always..

I find it hard too to read a long discussion especially when I don't put my mind on it....It's not like I'm searching for certain keywords which makes my reading a lot easier...

Don't give up! It just takes practice, and practice takes time. Just keep working at it. If you ever get tired of reading, there's always speaking and listening. Speaking and listening will help improve your reading skills because you will become more familiar with the language. Or you can read shorter discussions on myLot so you don't get discouraged with reading. Good luck!

you must practice reading little by little. watch english movie only and avoid your local channel. you can watch cnn new or other international news out there. but if you really want to speed up your reading skills then just keep on reading till you become into it.

You just need exposure to the English. Read, read, read and if you get tired read some more. When you encounter unfamiliar words, find its meaning in a dictionary. Engage in activities which can sharpen your English. (One example is forum posting here at myLot) Sooner or later you'll find yourself improving in terms of English comprehension. Goodluck!!

your eyes can read well the question is can your mind? i have read many long discussions before and i guess the reason why i am patient with reading is because of something i drank a few years ago. not softdrinks of course.

Read Books, Watch English movies, make it a habit that you check your dictionary daily and learn a few new words. :) Try visiting websites as well, there are websites that gives you exams and helps you improve your grammar and spelling, I just forgot their address so just search it. :)
