in your opinion, if people can live without food, whether money is still needed?

I think our lives already revolve around money that it's already unthinkable what our lives would be if we take it away from the picture. A world without money is no longer possible. It would only bring more problems than solutions. The main reason why man came up with money is to make their life easier, so other can have what others possessed by buying it.

it would be a wonderful world if we could live without food, but would it not affect the eco system and the world we live in? for instance the seas would be empty of fish. there would be no need for fields of corn and wheat. grass would not be needed for sheep and cows to graze on. the possibilities are endless and frightening.

I think we will need money for others thing beside eating. We will need house, and money will be needed to buy it and pay electric and water bill. We will also need money to buy new clothes, no way we got it for free. sometimes we need to buy luxury thing like car or use our money to pay public transportation.in the other hand we can say we need a lot of thing beside eating. Have a nice day.

Even if we dont need food to survive we will still definitely need money for our daily living, like the clothes we wear and most importantly the services that we use all day long. For example if you will use a taxi going home you still need to pay, or if you will have your hair done then you need to pay. Money is not just solely used for food.But at least if we dont eat anymore then its a big factor for us because of our expenses goes to the food factor, now if we wont be buying food anymore the resources will be allocated elsewhere ;) which is in my opinion will be very helpful for us

I guess there still wouldn't be any other way to get something else than food but buying it. So without money people couldn't buy houses, entertainment etc. Without money people wouldn't do any jobs because they wouldn't need to... Living in the streets without anything, even clothes, would be pretty bad in my opinion even if you didn't need food to survive. At that point many people wouldn't even want to survive. The people who are now starving would of course be happy but then again millions of other people would be far from happy. So I guess money is needed until we come up with something that would make money useless...

I can not imagine if humans live without eating. because there are a lot of food that is available on earth. such as vegetables, fruit, beef, chicken etc.. if humans do not eat, then all that exists will be in vain. of course money is needed. many human needs can be met by using money. money is the medium of exchange is easier, than using old-fashioned way, namely bartering.

I think that it would be really neat if we could live like they did way back in the western days. The people used to barter and trade for everything. If I could grow a pretty good garden and had some good wood for building, I wonder what I could get for it. You, know just trade for everything. Maybe I would do work on my computer to build you a web site, and you could give me a side of beef. Now wouldn't that be interesting to put the new technology to work along with the old time ways of doing things. I still think people could live this way today. Especially, if you had a really good green thumb and everyone wanted to try your food. My boyfriend's parents grew and raised almost every single thing that they consumed when he was growing up. I guess that is why he knows how to do so much, and gets by with very little. Plus, he has a lot less wants than most people. Which is really good, except it is really hard to pick out a present for him. LOL I found this a very interesting discussion. I hope it will continue on. Have a great day here on myLot!

The living must need the money. needs not only food. there are many other needs. such as clothing and shelter. There are also educational needs, or for entertainment. money can not be separated from humans. because human beings have many needs that must be filled with money.
