Considering the fact I'm horrible at debating, I probably wouldn't last any hours at all. Haha. (: Then again, I've never really tried. I suppose it would depend as well on what exactly was being debated, how much I knew about it, etc.

Well for my case it can depend on the reasons that i have and off course , how manny knowldge i have on the main debate reason. I think a debate its made to confront and try top change your oponent/oponents and of course viewers ( if they are any ) , for example if i want to convice my sister that texas holdem is game affected by luck of only 9 % she wont believe , she says that gambling is gambling , strategy or not , and then i asked her , how come you keep seen the same face at the big main events final tables , Ivey , Jhonson , Laak ...and many of them are pretty much well known now thx to poker. That still din't change her view about poker ...so i kind stop at right about twenty minutes after i started my "DEBATE" with her .
Happy Easter :)
