Ebay is the best registration I've ever done mate. I am at the moment research for free stuff or discounted stuff, post them to my blog for everyone else, and then obtain these free stuff or discounted ones. Then I go to ebay and sell em for $20-$50 bucks plus, and I do some profit :)

wow everyone is so negative. I actually disagree with them if you know what you are doing you can make a fortune with ebay. So before you start I suggest you read some books, there is so many good ones. I am actually reading a couple myself right now because I also want to start to sell on ebay. I have a friend that is only 17 which is technically illegal I guess but yeah he made around 30K the first year

Well right now I am reading starting an ebay business for canadians for dummies and tricks of ebay from the masters. But when I went to my local library i found atleast 50 different books about ebay so there is a lot of choice! If you don't live in Canada I suggest just getting ebay for dummies. :) Add me for more info

From the discussions I think you must sell something that people want to buy. Once I got this info about a hot item and it sold like hot cakes. i think you got to hype up the item also. I observe some sellers on facebook is that they 'build up a customer base' on facebook which is very smart because facebook is free and when the sellers have things to sell, 'publishing' the item is free. A friend of mine has a large customer base and only now she starts selling on ebay. She promotes her ebay link to her customers on facebook. Besides ebay, there are other ecommerce platforms that you can put your items. I cant tell what one of them is becos that one has my affiliate link in it. The other one is gmarket.com.sg I have put my items on both and the best thing here, you only pay when your items get sold off. No listing fees. But I still have to promote my items in case you're wondering.
