Sometimes, I would like to listen to people finish the whole conversation, and thought a little bit about it before I can give it my opinion. But for some people, they might simply jump into conclusion before the conversation finished, and they would argue it until the end. For me, I would rather listen, and trying to understand what my friends trying to tell me. If he is awaiting for my expressed opinion, I would honestly tell him so. Otherwise, I might just keep it to myself.

i think i am a good listener. but not every time. becuase some time i feel people just dont try to justify themselves.they just try to pressureize to convince their views. in those cases there is a need of argument only. and i do this also.

I felt that sometimes I have a conversation with my friends, they just want to win the conversation instead of be logical on the big picture, or the whole situation. I just couldn't do this kind of argument. At the end, it might wind up to verbally fight.

I consider myself a good listener. Thats because I rather listen then talk. I have been that way all my life. I will alway though give my two cents to whatever the conversation is about. Also help in anyway I can giving my opinion and my ideals. If they are warranted. Friends that I have known have said I should have been a physiologist because I can listen to ones story and then give sound advice.

I am very careful in giving out or voicing out my opinion when I haven't heard the whole story. Sometimes, we do commit mistakes and we jump into conclusions.

I think your right sometimes people just need to vent. Sometimes they do want your opinion. If they ask for your opinion and you agree to listen I think it is our responsibility to listen to the whole story before adding any opinion. If not how is one to know what advice to give if we don't know the whole story? I for one do not like to ask someone for advice then get it before I have told everything I have to say. If you need advice find a real good listener because otherwise you will be disappointed with the advice.

I like listening more than talking, for me I think I am a good listener and I think listening to other people is kinda relaxing, knowing their insights on a thing about love, hate, school and other things its kinda fun actually, I seldom like to listen to noisy people who talks nonsense all the time, I like people who talks with substance and listening to them is more fun, like teachers for example, in the classroom I seldom write on my notes, I understand the lesson more if I just listen. I am a left handed person so maybe experts say left handed people listen more than they talk which I think is true as experience by me, but sometimes I also voice out if something is wrong with something or I ask questions and give opinions but overall I just listen.
