hi everyone!
first of all, happy easter!!!! this morning, i just gave my daughter's easter basket. she knows about easter because she has a book on easter and she has almost memorized it. she likes it so much. anyway, she appreciated the easter basket so much and she is only 1 year old. i filled it with plastic eggs with toys inside and she loved opening them.
i think we will make this a family tradition every year.
so how about you? do you also give easter baskets to your child?
in order to spare some expense, i will rehash the eggs and just fill them up with new things each year. how about you? what do you plan to do?
God bless you all! let us take time to ponder Jesus' resurrection.
take care and happy mylotting! :D

I used to always fix Easter baskets for my daughters, and like you I recycled the plastic eggs the next year. I did fix up an Easter basket for my granddaughter, even though she is only two. I even colored real eggs for her basket, which I haven't done in many years, it was fun to do that again. I also put in some sidewalk chalk, she loves to play with that.

My children are very much so looking forward to finding their Easter baskets in the morning. We started off giving them Easter baskets when they were babies. My daughter is now seven years old and my son is now three years old. When I make their baskets I fill them mostly with toys and trinkets and just a little bit of candy. They will also have an Easter Egg Hunt at my mother's house in the afternoon where they will find some eggs filled with toys, some with change and some with a little bit of candy.
