a few hours ago i just watched the new film CLASH OF THE TITANS, but of course i already watched the earlier 1981 film. as the movie went on, i just listed down every differences between both versions with the exclusion of the latter's hi-tech visual effects that made the film awesome. guys, i would like to invite all of you to list or tell me everything that you think is not really part of the original film or the book clash of the titans. this is open for discussion and giving references would be good! i would start first: 1. pegasus turned to be a "black-winged horse" 2. the mechanical owl was featured for at most 5seconds in the film. 3. the shield and helmet given by zeus was not included in the film. more? please tell me...thanks

Maybe you can check this out (warning spoiler ahead!): http://cinemaroll.com/cinemarolling/movie-review-clash-of-the-titans-2010/ Okay I will try to list some differences: (I might spoil so do not read further if you do not want to know some details of the movie) From the 1981 film 1. From the original movie Andromeda was his love interest. 2. Calibos was Perseus enemy, the one Andromeda was supposed to marry 3. Thetis demanded for the life of Andromeda and not Hades 4. As you mention Bubo the mechanical owl 5. No Dioskilos, a two-headed dog that is the guardian of Medusa 6. King Acrisius is the father of Danaƫ who is the mother of Perseus but in this movie they were husband and wife 7. King Acrisius does not want Perseus because of the prophecy that he would die if his daughter had a son 8. Perseus does not hate being a demigod 9. Perseus and Andromeda live happily ever after 10. They became constellation Be right back for the difference between this remake and the Mythology which is quite a lot.
