Knowing God

What can be known about God is clear to them because he has made it clear to them. (Romans 1:19) What can be known about God is clear, the Bible said. The reason for this is that God has made it clear. So, there is no reason for anybody who profess belief in God to think otherwise. Why is it important that we possess knowledge about God? The Bible said, we need to know God to attain eternal life. Jesus said: "This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God..." (John 17:3) To whom does the pronoun "you" refer? Is it the Son, the Holy Spirit, or the Father. Jesus said the only true God is the Father. These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes and said, Father, the hour is come: glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (John 17:1-3) Jesus Christ was sent by the only true God, that is none other than the Father, to make known to men about the only true God, the Father. So, the concept of trinity (a word coined and interpolated by Tertulian --a man declared by the Catholic Church as heretic) that there are three persons in one God and each person that comprises this God are all God, not only can never be found in the Bible but against it as well. Since the Father is the only true God, then Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are not Gods, therefore.
