Some cars driving around the neighborhood, are they scouting?

I have seen many cars drove by the neighborhood, and they weren't visiting, if you take a longer observation. They look around the house, and make a U - turn, then they drove out the neighborhood. I was just wondering what they were doing here. Were they looking for a house for sale, or they were scouting the neighborhood. Crimes are everywhere nowadays, and it just make everyone even scarier.

Where there could be a chance that something sinister could be afoot. There always is and something like that is a red flag to be careful. However, I have found out that people tend to be just nosy and see something that catches their eyes. Therefore, they might investigate something more closely. I do agree, that it could be something rather innocent, like a sale, whether it be a house or a car or whatever.
Still, there is a all too good reason why we tend to be paranoid. There can be trouble lurking from every corner. Something could be innocent or it could be sinister. That air of being uncertain can make everything just much more terrifying and the fact you are looking over your shoulder. So yeah, something that might not be there or it could be just people being curious or nosy, or whatever you want to call it.

If its a lot of different cars then most likely they are looking a house that is for sale, its if its the same car coming back then i would feel concerned

I just had that today...a gold GMC kinda hovering over this foreclosed house...and I wondered what they were doing...I'm kinda nervous because there were several break ins a block or so away...and then there was the home invader dude that killed several people here in my hometown..he's now in custody and facing 13 charges! That's scary. The people didn't lock their doors...I now make sure ours is locked and the dog is out.
I'm not sure how many people are actually buying homes these days so it kinda makes you wonder...

It could be someone scouting for a robbery, it could be someone looking for the home of a friend, it could be someone looking at houses for sale, it could be a lot of things. But if the car keeps coming back, I think I would report it to the police. What harm could it do? Better safe than sorry.
