R u happy with the Indian squad selected for 20-20 world cup 2010?

Hi guys,
IPL has done wonders for the Indian domestic players and it has helped immensely for some foreign players to make their mark in the International arena as well.
Now after this IPL there is 20-20 world cup in West Indies and i wonder whether we have selected the right squad for that.
If u look at the squad there are some very out of form players in there like Rohit sharma, Yuvraj singh and Piyush chawla where as players who look in good form like Robin utthapa, Manish pandey, Murli vijay has impressed everyone and are going to stay back in India after the IPL is over.
According to me Robin utthapa should have been selected. He is someone who can turn the match within a span of 2 overs and also we are missing a bowling all rounder, so selecting Irfan pathan would have been a great idea.
So guys are u happy with the Indian team selected? What changes would u make if u were the selector? Lets share.

Hello tutul!
It would have been a complete team if Robin Uthappa would have been selected in place of Rohit Sharma & Murali Karthik in place of Piyush Chawla.

Hi,
I dont know abt Murali karthik as iam not very sure how much its going to spin in West indies. There wickets are suitable for fast bowling and i believe medium paces will do better.
A bowling allrounder like Irfan pathan is ideal for such wickets and i think we lost a valuable crickter there.

Well whatever i saw of Irfan pathan in this IPL he has bowled well. He is amongst wickets and his economy is in the lower side as well and also his batting skills in the lower order can pay dividends.
Apart from Harbhanjan singh we dont have a bowler who can bat a bit. So in my opinion he will be handy.

Compared to England the pitches in West Indies are better for spin bowlers as of now.Why I mentioned England because Murali Kartik played a lot of county cricket & was very successful.He is in good form & he has the variety to succeed in the shortest format of the game.
For your kind information Irfan Pathan cannot be called a bowling all rounder as he has forgotten his bowling skills.He just bats OK but you cant take him only as a batsman as we have better batsmen than him.So it was justified when he was not selected in the team.

Yes i am happy with that team selection.. because mostly are young talent and also played in last world cup.. so now it is interesting to see that how they performs in t20 world cup..have a nice day and keep mylotting always..

Going by the cricket of the times its difficult to predict tutul. We never know what's going to work and when. Who could have thought that KKR will lose yesterday!! So, you never know. i just wish the players concentrate on their cricket only and do their best. I wish them luck!

Nice to c u again Yes u said it right, Cricket is a funny game and this format 20-20 is hilarious. It was very disappointing to c KKR losing like that yesterday after Chris gayle playing so well.
But we saw some thing exceptional from Mahela and they deserved to win after that. But still i will go with in form players than out of form ones. Y pick a player who is not feeling good abt himself than a player who is in top of everyone.
