I really like Legend of the Seeker, probably because I like Bridget Regan as Kahlan. However, they had a very bad flaw in the episode earlier this year called Resurrection. It is the one where they track a trouble making general to a brothel which ends up being run by the Mord'Sith Denna who tortured Richard before. She has a wizard with a spell and a limited amount of potion that can be used to bring a particular spirit back from the underworld to inhabit a dead body. Denna has trained the General and kills him to bring him back in Richard's body after killing Richard as the Lord Raul. She uses the breath of life to revive the body. This is where the problem is. As is noted by Cara when Richard dies she loses the magic of the her ageal and Zed points out that a Mord'Sith's magic comes from the house of Raul and is connected by blood so that when the last in the line of Raul(Richard) is killed the magic is gone. So that means that Denna could not have revived Richard's body with the general's spirit in it and that later Cara could not revive it again with Richard's spirit in it because neither one of them would still be able to use the breath of life since that is part of the magic of the Mord'Sith that they get from the house of Raul.

I really like this series since I have already read the book where it was based from. Sadly they won't be releasing any season 3 for The Legend of the Seeker. Is it true that the actor who portrayed Zed already passed away? Probably that's one of the reason they won't continue the series anymore.

I did a search and could find nothing that said he had passed away. So hopefully that is not the case. He is 3 days younger than me, although I think he looks older, so I really don't like to hear of people my age passing.

I like Legend of the Seeker mostly because it's the ONLY high fantasy Tv series. Like, at all. Having read the first couple of books I know they're way off. Recently, I've been noticing a drop in production values too. Something other people might not notice, but there have been a few episodes where the audio was really echoy, like they re-dubbed in a studio with really bad acoustics. Plus the magic is getting so complicated, there are so many rules and regulations that it's getting to the point where it's just trying to cover its own plot-holes. I still love the show though. I can't get enough of it. I'd like to point out that he says that the magic of the Mord'Sith's agiels and not their magic in general is connected to the house of Raul. So it could be that the breath of life is exempted from the line of Raul.
