Hi Rama!
Please opt for broadband connection instead of Dial up connection. Broadband connections are faster and they will provide you higher speed.

Hi Rama, I suggest you turnoff inline images in your browser. Images on a web page often make the page load more slowly, especially if you have a very slow connection (e.g., a dial-up connection). To decrease the time it takes to load a page by preventing images from loading, try to turn off loading of images under your browser if you are only reading e-mails and trying to surf some text files.

cdma are generally slow. they shouldnt be slow but the internet service providers provide slow internet on cdma (generally in india). you should buy broadband, dsl, cable or wimax. these days these connections are not very expensive and you get unlimited connection for good price. with the slowest broadband connection you will probably get 2-40 kb/sec download speed. the 128kb/sec connection will give you this speed.

well as you are using a mobile connection your speed cannot be enhanced because of two reasons:
1: Mobile internet service providers do not offer speed more than 2 kbps
2: Your mobile phone has a modem which can have a max speed of about 5 kbps so it is not much a difference.
It would be better to you if you use a broadband connection.

I recently read an article about increasing the internet speed in ehow.com_how to increase internet speed. they had given a vary clear instruction.i Had followed that and tested my internet speed in http://www.scanmyspeed.com/.The speed was shown instantly and has quite increased.you can also try this.

I think you should change your internet connection with some broadband options. There's a lot of option for faster internet connection which we can easily choose one of them. CDMA however seems hopeless to be faster since the maximum network speed is also lower. You can try to use mobile broadband internet connection such as from GSM provider. It usually will give you much better speed than your CDMA. Just give it a try and feel the difference. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.
