Was it just me, or did you think the last episode of Frost was a bit flat?

I'm a big fan of David Jason, and I also love detective dramas. Frost has always been one of my favourites, and I was determined not to miss the last show. It boasted a great cast - Adrian Dunbar and Niamh Cusack were wonderful - but the whole thing just left me a bit flat.
It was nice to see Frost settled with a lovely lady, but I wish they hadn't killed off his sidekick George Toolan. Still, I suppose somebody had to die, and as it was the last show, most people expected it to be Frost himself - I certainly did, although I'm glad he lives to love again. I get very emotional when my favourite characters are killed off - it's tissues at the ready, and my husband saying, 'For God's sake, it's not real!'
I suppose they had to have a convincing reason for Frost to leave the police force and retire happily - after all, he is knocking on a bit - but as I said, it left me unsatisfied in a funny kind of way that I didn't experience when the last episode of Inspector Morse - another great favourite - was shown.
Was I expecting too much, do you think, or were you dissatisfied with the last-ever Frost as well?

UM, I haven't heard of this show..I will have to look it up. What channel does it usually come on maybe that is why I haven't heard of it it is on channels we may not have.. watch..I have been disappointed in the last shows before..I was with Charmed..God I still miss that show...I know reruns..still going on..but just not the same..wouldn't it be cool if they came back..all with kids..and then had to teach the kids to control their power while still trying to be the power of three to kick demon but..talk about multitasking..lol...But I will give the show a search..

Hello, Becca. You may not get it in the USA. It's an English detective drama series that has been going for several years now. The full title of the show is A Touch of Frost. Don't know if you have hannels that show English shows out there. Nie to talk to you again - I've been busy with other things, so I haven't been here much lately.

I'm thinking we don't get that..We have the basic cable...Sound as though it would be very good to watch though and If I searched maybe could find it on maybe Hulu or another site to check it out. I haven't been on much myself lately..I have 2,274
