I was 12 when I had my very own room, up until then I've shared a room and a bed with my mom. At first I was really scared since I wasn't used to being alone in a room, and it's so dark there- there may be monsters in the cabinet ,something in the mirror and scary sounds outside... Well, after a while I got over it and figured out there's nothing to be scared of and no ones going to attack me while I'm asleep... But when I watch horror movies I go to my mom's room again.. :D

I had a room to myself only after I was able to buy my own house around five years ago. But as long as I can remember, I always shared a room with my mom. Since she got sick and I had to give up my work and my house, I have gone back to sharing a room with her again.

hi lady, I don't remember ever sleeping in my parents room. I did share a room with my brothers until I was like 5 or 6 and then I had my own room. My girls never got in the habit of sleeping with me but they did sometimes crawl into bed with me when they were scared or couldn't sleep.

I had my own room when I was 12 too, it was quite big-before that I also sleep beside my mother since the bed is very big. I really liked my room, it was what I've always wanted- I wasn't scared or anything...

i have always had my own room since i was a child... being the only daughter in my family, i have the privilege of owning my own room since i was a child... i can still remember going back to my parents' room in the middle of the night and just squeeze myself between them on their bed because i am so afraid of sleeping on my own... as i grow older, my parents forbid me to do that and force me to stay in my own room until morning... take care and have a nice day...

When I was a baby and then a toddler I shared a room with my parents. When I was two years old and my sister was seven years old my family moved into a three bedroom house. I got my own room and my sister got her own room as well. My parents had the large bedroom overlooking the road and our small bedrooms overlooked the back garden. Now I am grown up I live in a small house and I would like to move to a large bungalow. That is a house that is only on the ground floor. My children share a bedroom at the present time. You must have been so very used to sharing room with your mom that it might have been a bit of a shock to move out. You were lucky to have your own room by the time you reached your teenage years.

I had my own room when I was six or seven years old. It was a very small attic, which is about four or five square meters. Every night after I finished my homework in my parents' room, I went upstairs and slept in my own room. At first, I felt a little scared for it is dark in the surroundings. But after several months I got used to this new environment.

I've actually never had my own room. When I was little me, my 1 year older brother, and my two year younger sister shared a room. Now me and my sister just share a room. At one point my whole family was living in one room. When I move out I probably won't have a room of my own either. xD
