Aside from physical appearance what do you think is the differences between men and women? Of course there are stereotypes for both sexes but which do you believe to be true if any? What are the stereotypes of each? Men and women think differently for one and due to hormones men tend to be more aggressive with their testosterone and women more sensitive due to having more estrogen. I am amazed how different men and women are yet they seem to blend well and even live together. On another note, maybe men and women who are too different as many times they do not tend to get along, which can often lead to seperation of marriages. Will men and women ever be truly equal or understand one another?

Apart from physical differences there are a lot of emotional differences between sexes. Women tend to be much more emotional, feel more, are more sensitive. Men often do not understand this and the fact that women like tidiness, cleanliness and order.

Why do you think women like tidiness, cleanliness and order more so then men do? I know some men who are clean and tidy but I know much more men who are not. I think that men tend to think more linear, whereas women tend to think of all relationship and how it affects everyone and not just themselves. Do you concur?

most men i know do not mind much about chores, tidiness and order. i am not saying that all men are like this but i believe the majority are. yes i agree with you on that point, you are right- this brings out the point that men are a bit more selfish.

Maybe men were thought to think for themselves and strive in society and make a name for themselves, hence they are more prideful. Society has trained men to be competitive and that each man's worth needs to be gained through his own two hands. Men seem to be more ambitious than women, thus making them more selfish. Do you really think men are more selfish than women in general? I'm still not sure we have enough evidence to back up that statement. Maybe in the end it's a case by case scenario.

I learned that men tend to do what they feel while women tend to be so emotional with just about anything. Its more like when we like something we tend to do something bout it by means of actions, while with girls they just tend to keep it inside them until the time that they just cant hide it anymore .

I heard that men think with their hearts, whereas women base their decisions more off of what their hearts tell them. This can be why guys are more straightforward and why women are more emotional because one thinks with their head and the other with their heart, respectively. So you are saying that girls are more passive because they hide it and keep it in? I think that women can act on their desires as well but might just not be aggressive as men.

Women have more of a nurture aspect as they were bred to take for their young and thus in doing so they build relationships and care for everyone. The world is globalizing and getting smaller. We live in an age where it acceptable for males to take on former female roles and females to take on former male roles. It is seen as okay for men to be a nurse or househusband and women can now be doctors, lawyers, or even firefighters. It is still the case where women have to be passive, for example they have to wait for their suitors and they are not really supposed to chase after men. This is why women tend to beautify their bodies more than men do. Women care about their looks and make themselves pretty, so as to attract men who will take care of them.

Yes its true that there are girls can also act on their desires but not majority of them. Actually theres just a thin line between these differences of sexes, some c girls can do what men do and with ease , that goes for men too when it comes to girls too.

Men and women will never be equal, cause we don't want to. We don't want to be the same as women, most will say that the difference is gone. As the brain of the men and women are different, it can't be like that. Now there sure are A LOT of stereotypes, and most aren't true, but this one is, no offense to women. Stereotype: Women can't drive with cars (or at least, not as good as men). Last monday I was in a car with my neice and her mother (but not only she can't really drive well), and it was quite a joyride instead of a normal trip on the road. (it probably were the wobbling of the car: left - right - left - right) ^^ Enjoy your day!

I'm sure that not all women are bad drivers. To me stereotypes can be true for some of the population but the fact that it is not true for the whole population means that it should not be used, for it might offend those that it does not apply to. For example, the women that are good drivers will be offended by your statement. From my own experience everyone has stereotypes and biases but in general I am learning to keep my stereotypes to myself. It was acceptable for you to say the streotypes you believed in because I explicitly asked for it but I hope you do not tell a woman to her face that women cannot drive. Some people believe that Asian people cannot drive. I doubt that this is true because most of the nice smooth modern running cars that are running are made by Asian makers from Japan and Korea. Do those stereotypers of Asian drivers really believe that Asian makers do not drive their own cars? Men might not want to be the same as women but women for the last few decades have been striving for equality with the women's movement. If women and men are indeed equal then that would abolish etiquette or chivalry because women wanted to be treated like men. Sweetness. How complicated, I know. Good day to you as well!

No, I don't say it in their face, nor do I actually mean it =) It's more of a fun to say when you are alone (only guy), surrounded by women, the reaction can be epic though =) You are right, we somehow want to be different, but still want equality^^ I know what you mean :D Greets
