How was your easter dinner? Did you cookout or make a more traditional holiday meal? For me, My mom and dad cooked out but i made a traiditional easter dinner. That's what my hubby had wanted so i cooked for him. It was sooo good to ahve a ham and stuffing! Thats my favorite part of holiday dinners. Do you have a favorite part of holiday dinners?

I went to Montreal to visit a friend and we had a big community potluck and ate in the park. :)

When we have a traditional holiday meal, my favorite part of the meal is all of the sides that my mother will typically make. I love green bean casserole and I love broccoli casserole. I also really enjoy sweet potatoes. Then, of course, there is my very favorite part of all for the meals, that is the dessert. My mother makes a dump cake that I've always loved and wished that it would last forever. This year for Easter we did a cookout as well, but my mother still made the dump cake. The food was good and we had a great time.

My husband and I took our children out to Easter brunch. They are both teenagers , so the egg hunts were out...but the chocolate bunnies were still okay We always eat dinner as a family so we can visit...but, going out made it that much better....just visiting and eating..no cooking or cleaning. We all had a wonderful time

Hi chantalgiardina this Easter I did not go to visit my parents but I stayed at home with my boyfriend and I prepared a dinner for him!Usually the traditional easter dine is lasagna and baked lamb with potatoes. I chose to prepare a mixed grill of meat with potatoes and salad...and the day after I prepared Lasagna.
